Monitor Calibration

For true colour matching there is a "spider" which you can place on your monitor for very accurate calibration. They do cost around 90 but are very accurate. A lot of monitors have colour calibration software.

Its pretty important to calibrate properly because what you seen on the screen can differ considerably to whats printed.

If you are using a certain photolab, some of them provide software.

More info and I can help man i.e. are you printing yourself or using a lab, type of monitor etc.

Thanks for the advice. Don’t do a huge amount of digi prints but have had varying results from Jessops, PhotoBox and my own printer.

Just want to make sure that I’m calibrated for when I send pics out. Currently trying to cobble a website together and want to get the colours right for that too.

I have a Iiyama Vision Master CRT and debating whether to buy an LCD/TFT screen. Going to take a look at the Adobe Gamma tool the noo…

Cheers
