black plastic flag
as quoted from dr drake...yes they might not have the most radio friendly name but this lot are tipped for promising things in 2004....some of you may remember GANGER who were from Glasgow, at one point signed to Domino Records, and who also toured the world back in the late 90's. Craig B went on from there to form AEREOGRAMME of course, and now Natasha is the front person of Fuck-Off Machete.you can check out mp3's on their site www.fuck-offmachete.com -Sonic Youth influences have been pointed out on 'Sudosu' but also with the dirtier bass grooves of Girls Against Boys, backed up by the vocal tone too.Their debut album is due for release on 23rd feb on Lost Dog Recordings and they will be appearing here at Dr Drakes on....WED 18TH FEB8PM3.50local support comes from aberdeen miserablists turning 13!! http://www.turning13.com and (TBC)
