chilli
The editor was quoted after the Mercury Music Prize as saying Antony & The Johnsons were "too weird" for his readership. I despair....that same editor was on a radio show on sunday praising his current cropof journalists saying they were every bit as good as the "seminal late 70' early '80 journalists" what a load of bollocks?will there ever be as good a crop of journo's as, biba kopf, adrian thrills, neil spencer, charles shaar murray, julie burchill, neil mcormack andy gill, chris bohn etc who were all prime movers at the nme during that period. of course they all got out & now operate in the intelligent sector of music.
