Alan Cynic
The Blue Lamp had regular jazz nights for a while, but I don't know if they're still happening.
leftboy
The jazz in Kef is brilliant and it's mostly the same band that played in Morgans - Bug and Friends. Apart from that there's only the blue Lamp, which is damn pricey - they charged for B&F when it's free in Kef. If you wanna explore it more in your home check out the jazz section in Fopp. Many classics for 5. Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Cecil Davis, Archie Shepp, Ornette Coleman, Herbie Hancock are all AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING.
unbroken
I think it still is....

Alan Cynic
Kef is good.....I forgot about that!! Sometimes the coffee shop on the corner of Rose St ('Beans'?) has live jazz at the weekends.

Swingin' Ryan
I'm about 99% sure the Blue Lamp still does regular jazz nights.
Alan Cynic
Nostalgia time (sorry all you under 80s) Anyone else remember the second hand record shop upstairs in Belmont St (sort of above Manhattan Bagel)? Half of it was psych (run by Ken McKenzie) and half was jazz....really great selection, but I can't remember the guys name who ran it.
