RossP
They are simply amazing, one of the best bands i have seen live. and possibly the only band to get a brilliant sound in DrummondsThe Glasgow gig (sorry Maxi) was utterly mind blowing though, such an amazing wall of sound. Cant wait for some new material

Consider the sound of a heart-monitor created in "First Breath After Coma", and how the rest of it is an aural representation of a concept. That's not music, that's the scourge of music. They are ripe to do a film soundtrack.

Slow Dance, A - Explosions In The Sky http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0390022/I think they should stick to soundtracks, although I wouldn't like to hear that work outside the context of the film.It seems everyone went to that gig at Drummonds. I can see it becoming like the Sex Pistols at the Free Trade Hall, but producing a glut of sincere, accompolished muso bands instead of exciting, essential punk bands
get lost
Mogwai do this better than anyone else, just my opinion mind. EITS were good in Drummonds though.
Guest stuartmaxwell
i find mogwai to be emotionless and are not the best in the field, they are the ones who get the most presslike post rock?check out these bands who do it ten times better than mogwai (imo)maseratigrails the mercury programred sparowesmonofriends in the mountainsdirty threethe halifax piertristezagsybei hate how mogwai are hailed as "pioneers" of post rockthey are for lazy journalists who like to generalise
