  1. I used it to record Fungemungler in rehearsals, 3 mics on the drums, amps di'd to the R16 , set levels and hit record, seemples! 32 channels, you know you want to...
  2. With the right pedals you can also get some synth type noises with a guitar, a few that I use include; Digitech synth wah, Elec Harmonix POG2, any mix of distortion and phaser pedals, Boss DD6 reverse delay, Boss Tera Echo, Electro Harmonix freeze, and a boss RC3 looper and digitech jamman sample pedal that contains a few synth/pad samples I can trigger with my boot. Some of my ambient/electronic soundscape stuff (all done with gtr and fx) can be heard here
  3. FX gone. Bump on all guitars, trade for bass or other electric guitars?
  4. Is this one a japanese or mex model? If its made in Japan I could well be interested.
  5. The descent looks cool, plus/minus octave shifting with shimmering reverb. Right up your street Col
  6. All you have to do is tighten the spring screws inside the trem cavity to stop the bridge floating, no need to block it. Adding extra springs will also fix it.
  7. I bought a 5420T last year and love it, mine also has a bridge mod, I changed the standard bridge for a gretsch rocking bar, which is perfect for punkabilly playing
  8. I think a mex fender strat in trade for THAT poker chip guitar and an amp that's had the speakers fecked about with has to be a step up! I only hope the scalloping was done properly (Why??) and the frets aren't completely worn on the neck or it'll be needing money spent on a refret. At least the 4 pickup scratchplate mod is easily changed! Personally I think the scalloping would have put most people off buying it?
  9. Col's post made me go looking! A few fucking awful looking guitars trawled from the web (mostly Gibson)....
  10. Possibly other electrics, or interesting pedals (guitar synths, delays, autofilters, etc)
  11. For a small town theres plenty going on in Aberdeen, seek and enjoy

So tempted to buy this, but I've got too many guitars! You fancy a virtually unplayed fender FSR strat (Flame orange finish) in trade...
  13. We (FungeMungler) are looking for a singer, music includes cramps covers and original punk/rock songs, so might suit a male vocal more than female, but if any female singers are happy to sing about Naked Girls Falling down the Stairs (The Cramps) or Bikini Girls With machine guns (also by the Cramps), then great! Songs/style are not set in stone, so open to singers own interpretation, as long as its in tune! If you can strum a guitar or bang a tambourine at the same time, even better! 3 piece band (bass, drums, guitar) all over 40, but age doesnt matter. You can hear a few of our songs here with my attempt at singing them... Soundcloud Link Pm if interested.
  14. As Col said, booster is the easiest option, I often use one of these for solos... http://www.ehx.com/products/lpb-1
  15. Very happy to see Downstairs at the Malt Mill being used regularly for gigs again, Gavin has done a great job with the place. Had a few fun gigs at Cellar 35, smaller venue = good atmosphere. Agree with what everyone else has said about the tunnels.
  16. Drop me a PM mate, I'm sure we can sort something out
