  2. Skacel's snapped up Mexcio. Not that it matters. We're going to skelp the fuck oot o' abidy. Min.
  3. We all know the answer to that question.
  4. I'm sure there must be something in beer that relaxes muscles or something that helps to avoid tightening / stiffening up. Or am I mixing that up with brewer's droop?
  5. Chris - I see your clubmate Robbie Simpson is still smashing it up... 1:30 off the Scolty course record? That's massive over a 7.2k course!
  6. Sounds like you fucking love running Chris.
  7. Stretching after running was another revelation for me earlier this year. The foam roller is also great if there are any "tight spots" in the legs. I had just never given it a go, but it's really great for loosening things up. Well done KarmaTsunami!! Fraserburgh 10k this Sunday - anyone fancy it...? Oh - I forgot to mention that I finally joined Fraserburgh RC a couple of weeks ago. I haven't been along to any of their sessions yet, but I've got to know a few of the members at recent races etc. I discovered that on the country road that I live on, there are 3 others in the club. There are only about 6 or 7 houses on the 2 mile stretch of road, and now 4 of us are in the running club.
  8. If you're going to come in all billy big balls, at least get your facts straight. We smashed World Beaters Luxembourg 5-1 last week. We weren't trying in the previous 4 matches. Just getting warmed up now.
  9. Has anyone ever seen McGinn smile?
  10. We let our football do the talking. We HAMMERED Sweden 2-0. Ibra was injured, but he wouldn't have made any difference to the outcome. We are unstoppable.

  12. Just putting this here to remind me that waltz has plumped for Honduras. I'll update the list when I'm back at a computer.
  13. 39:43!! Fucking yaldy.
  14. I'm running a 10,000m track race at ASV on Friday evening so no free routes or ascents / descents for me!!
  15. 93:42 at Mull of Kintyre Half Marathon on Sunday. Nearly 4 minutes off the PB. On the back of a full training week (no taper) and no runs farther than 9 miles in about 3 months!!! Chuffed is nae the word. With some actual half marathon training I'm confident of sub 90 this year. The course isn't what you'd call a PB course with its section of beach and hills etc!
  16. I can't see Moyes taking on the Celtic job. I have nothing to add or justify that comment with - I just can't see it somehow.
  17. I just had a thought. I wonder if Lennon will materialise as the new manager of that Celtic team in the lower divisions of England. You know that team that absolutely isn't associated with Celtic FC in any shape or form, despite being called "Celtic", playing in green and white hoops and looking very very Irish.

  19. I think the seasons without Rangers in the PL are tough for Celtic to sign and hold onto good players. Last season they did really well (all things considered) in the CL with Wanyama being a beast and Hooper banging in some goals. They cashed in, understandably. This season, they were overwhelmed in the CL. I expect much of the same this season (if they make the group stages). I would imagine that Lennon's thinking would mainly be that he can still carve out a move to a decent Championship side off the back of the reputation he got from last season's CL outings and the money he made on his signings etc. Last season, Celtic actually looked like a good team, but this season, not really. Just more cash and still a lot more higher paid players than anyone else in Scotland can afford. Next season will be worse for Celtic than this season was - I don't imagine them signing any big names, and some may leave. Lennon will get found at in the Championship though. He'd be better off to go right down to the bottom tier or go to the continent or something and actually learn how to be a football manager. He inherited a team with by far the biggest budget in the league he was in and managed one good season of overperforming in Europe. If he goes into a competitive league, his tactics will get found out badly. I reckon so anyway.
  20. First complete group thanks to Del. We'll call that the "Group of Death" just because... I saw a clip on the news about Suarez and funnily enough, he was in goals, complete with goalie gloves on. Stick the boot into Ghana, why don't you...? All the other chat is irrelevant. Fellaini's been underperforming for United this season to lull all you fools into a false sense of security. We're gonna smash you. Every one of you.

  22. I would say about 13 of those have been copy and pastes of the team list. As I've got fuck all interesting to say.
  23. Cesc is coming to Goodison. Bobby M will make it happen.
  24. Not bad, I knew 1 and was about 99% confident on 4. 7 was a wild guess and I only knew 1 out of 4 in question 5 - the other 3 were complete guesses as were the rest of my answers.
  25. 1. Fontaine 2. 3 3. 1962 4. 1974 5. Uruguay, Germany, Italy, Mexico 6. Linekar 7. 2 8. Can't even hazard a guess... 9. Uruguay Some outrageous guessing going on in there... I predict 4/9
