  1. Hi sorry for the delay. On the morning your pedal went up I bid for one on ebay which I bloody won so I was waiting for the result so I don't need the compressor. If you're interested I can swap a boss super overdrive and a electro harmonics nano muff for the mxr as u have 2.
  2. Late shopping Thursdays
  3. How about a crate flexwave.
  4. Bump, Don't make me take this stuff to cash converters but that is the next step, no offers?
  5. Josh your 14, your not meant to have money or know what gear you want. I'm 30 and still ain't got the gear I want. The endless quest for the ultimate tone will last a lifetime. I think he Pacifica u got is a great guitar for what it is, master it, make some money then buy whatever you want.
  6. It don't have any fret buzz.
  7. Yay If you know any brass players John send them this way
  8. All a learning curve.
  9. Plus if you have tightened and tightened you need just new springs and I have a spare set that you could just have.
  10. My point exactly. Not worth it. Better just set the guitar up well. Don't try and turn a yamaha into a strat.
  11. Not the cavity on the scratch plate but the actual wood. The guitar body. Do you know how big a job that is. Not easy work.
  12. Well first for the bridge simple solution. Slacken the strings, remove the back plate and the 2 screws that are connecting the underside of the bridge to the guitar body tighten them so they go in towards the guitar body. Tune back up and sorted. That is what lowers a floating bridge. If still a little high tighten some more. Unless your on about the action being to high then that is a simple fix also. You haven't really considered the pickups too well then cos as soon as you take the pickguard off u will have a cavity that fits a humbucker not a single coil. Either have to fill the cavity and re rout it or have a single coil with the chance of too much movement and vibration if not fitted correctly. Try something simple first before not liking the humbucker on the yamaha, lower the pickup away from the strings, it won't be as powerful and will add extra twang. I quite like the humbucker in the yamaha, I just add some bottom end on an eq pedal and sounds nice.
  13. I have the same guitar but yes, a strat pickguard will not fit. Different number of holes, different shape plus a strat has 1 volume 2 tones, yamaha 1 of each. Just upgrade the pickups and tuners. Solid body and neck.
  14. If you find any let me know. Been looking for a brass section for ages.
  15. Bump, get some offers in, all needs to go. Me-50 has already been sold but the rest is still up for grabs.
  16. Bump. After practicing again this evening we are really missing these 2 key ingredients. Our trumpet player is lonely without a sax player to join him. We are missing those extra notes.
