  1. No problem. I was going to change the neck also if I kept it.
  2. No problem. I was going to change the neck also if I kept it.
  3. 21 fret rosewood. I ain't checked the radius or the pocket if fitting a new neck.
  4. WHAT......A......GUITAR!!!!! Will have to have a clear out and take this off you if it ain't gone soon. Blades are amazing.
  5. Cheap and good don't normally go together and if building a project why start with a squire strat cos it is already a complete guitar. Go searching for bodies on ebay or the place I get most parts are from wd music. Not cheap tho. Always start with a good body otherwise no point.
  6. Hi Kev. Sorry as stated the only squire I would even consider is a classic vibe one otherwise fender only. The body alone on this would set people back 250 if they wanted a 1 piece swamp ash. The tele I had off you is almost all sorted tho.
  7. Ok here it goes, I am interested in trying to swap my Hand Built custom tele that a luthier friend of mine made a while back. I am only interested in swapping for a strat. Would have to be a fender the only alternative would be a classic vibe squire. I am not interested in anything else just a strat. This guitars spec is super high and the set up is to die for, first person to play this neck will want it, i am sad writing this but i want a strat that much. Ok spec is as follows. 1 Piece swamp ash body 2 x Fender USA 1980's humbucker pickups, same as in an 80's Jaguar made famous by Kurt Cobain. Wd licensed neck 7 1/4 radius neck. Gotoh tuners Thats obviously just the main details. Add the prices up and that is one pricey guitar. Email for pictures or more information. Again no offers of money or other guitars. Only interested in a Strat. Stevie
  8. For sale. Roland cube 30watt modelling amp. Fantastic clean sound, built in effects and amp modelling. First cubes before the xl models. Punchy 10" speaker. Can practice with band and have volume at half way and it still cuts through. 100 ono. Stevie
  9. I was getting rid of a washburn ea18tr acoustic. Interested in swapping that?
  10. Glad your getting some interested parties John.
  11. Very true but the vox i can buy new and pay in installments this i need to find all the cash at once. Not all as loaded as you unfortunately. Let me mull it over.
  12. Damn you Diesel. I just got out of my head getting this amp and changing to a vox and you go and put it on sale again. Decisions decisions.
  13. Looking to swap a Washburn EA18TR http://www.acclaim-music.com/Washburn-EA18TR-Acoustic-6-String-Guitar.html for a strat. Decent Mexican, a rough American or a good quality Squire . Lovely sounding acoustic, all recently set up, with hard case. As link above. Pm if interested. Stevie
  14. As the topic suggests. After a strat style neck if anyone has one lying around. Cheers
  15. Kev get the xotic pedal above. Same make as my bb pedal. Amazing quality fx. If you don't i might then i be cutting over you again. Bb was best investment ever and people rave about the other xotic pedals also.
  16. What was the result of the operation. Was it from success.
  17. I never said they were crap either. Good pickups but as above......love the 57's, so creamy.
  18. I would be interested in the pickups but only if you find out the model of them. If they are the Burstbucker or the 57 classics i will take off you but unfortunately i am in different thinking to Deisel and think they will be the 498r and 500t if so then i will leave it. Once you get them taken out let me know what they are. Cheers Stevie
  19. Cheers for the advice. Tried that route and didn't really work but you have added an extra title so maybe that will help. Quite new to this thread but now u guys gave more info i know for the future.
  20. No problem. Hopefully will get some replies this time and won't need to post again.
  21. Trying for the final time to get 2 musicians onboard. We are in need of a piano/keys player. Playing piano and also using keys to fill out brass string etc. Aged between 20-35 willing to play anything and everything all musicians have the chance to play the songs they love. Practice weekly or fortnightly hoping to be out playing soon. Covering everything from disco, soul, blues, reggae jazz etc. We are also in need of a sax player to join with our trumpet player. Some songs are brass heavy especially the soul and disco tunes so sax will be great. All easy going musicians just wanting to enjoy and get people up on their feet for a good night. Male and female singers also in band so good mix of tunes. For more info or set list get in touch you sax and piano players. Stevie
  22. Bump, really no players out there wanting to join a fun down to earth band? Ok sax player is also needed
