I quite like Martin, i watched the Derby game at the weekend and he is a handful, him and Russel seem to be linking up great as well. I was kinda hoping Russel would have made this squad. Good to see Bryson involved as well, he has been fantastic for two seasons in the championship.

I think your being a touch harsh on Strach there. We dont play lump ball with him in charge of Scotland, it would be pointless as we dont have a target man to speak off. We have little choice but to set up with a 5 man midfield in modern football, as we are so far behind in quality we need to try and make it up in numbers, but i've been quite pleased with the football he has had the national team playing, slowly, we seem to be getting more comfortable on the ball.

Nah i dont see anyone who isnt in the squad who would improve that defense. Id probably have Reyonlds instead of Greer, purely because Reyonlds is not away to start collecting his pension, but he wouldnt start. Hutton is as good a right back as we have, and Robertson is the first real left back we've had since Davie Roberston, or it seems like that. Forsyth is a good option to back up Roberston and Whitticker is about as good a back up on the right as we have. You could maybe argue Jack, but he isnt really a right back, he can just play there. It would be a waste for the team.

Both out of form big time, plus i dont think Strachan rates Rhodes for the way he wants Scotland to play. Shame Jack was not involved, but he has so many good players ahead of him. Reynolds could probably be the only one annoyed as Bera is ahead of him, but im not sure he really has another level to step up.

His goals at Milan might be good, but he has a higher shots to goal average that Jordan Henderson. Something like 1 goal every 12.4 shots. Suarez was something like 1 goal every 4.3 shots. I might have them slightly wrong but its around those figures.
