They're doing it as a sort of dedication to their friend due to the fact that he left them those lyrics but if they didn't have those they'd still be carrying on and making great music like they always have done. They've never lost any credibility in my eyes. Bands like the Manics don't come around very often, I feel sorry for those who don't appreciate them but that's life. I just get on with enjoying them and nearly getting crushed to death at their gigs sort of thing!

Aaaaaaw no! How can you say they've been pish since EMG? I think they've just got better and better myself. I like the different moods of the albums. Let's face it, they are one hell of an amazing experience live even if you're not into the newer stuff so much.

Just wondering if any posters on this forum have seen the No Manifestos documentary screening and if so what they thought about it? Haven't seen it myself but hear it was interesting!

Oasis are overrated in my opinion. The Manics are underated.

I did try and pluck up the courage cos I always hate the thought of the shop assistant staring at you blankly! Stupid I know. I did order in Silver Jews' Tanglewood Numbers album so I know I can do it. When I'm next in HMV I'm just gonna go for it *deep breaths*.

Yeah, know they are on Fat Cat but would prefer to just get it from HMV if at all possible! In the NME they were saying that they are really popular in America but not so much here which semed a bit strange. Hopefully they are starting to take off more here now.

Been trying to get hold of Frightened Rabbits The Midnight Organ Fight south of the border without success. Hoping it will become a bit more widly available soon. Listened to some of their songs on their Myspace page and think they are really good.
