  1. Damn right Tubthumper! MSP should be around half way through their set in Belgium by now.
  2. Can't remember if I've already posted in this thread. I'd better not give my reply or I may get chased away with a broom! (You can guess though can't ya?) I like The Beatles but would put The Shadows and ELO above them (controversial!).
  3. Blimmin' fans of the Killers whining to NME about them being ignored on the 'Best Of T' list. Sorry, but the other acts that were on the list were just BETTER! Get over it!
  4. Digital Radio sounds as good as Digital TV then............................................
  5. James, you have as many pies as you want! The blokes are just envious of your female admirers! Oh and he's mates with Joe Calzaghe so I'd be careful what you say about him! Disappointed, I expected better from a Scottish forum. You've let me down badly! Shame on thee! And I still haven't seen the acoustic version of TJSS. Get it sorted BBC. Anyhow - if James is fat what does that make his wee Scottish mate John Niven then? Obese?
  6. That's why I want to hear the music properly though, not the soulless form you get via the computer. Yeah you can hear it but the sound quality isn't as good.
  7. I said to this lad at work once that CD's have better sound quality than mp3's but he just laughed and said he had thousands of songs for free. Some people just view music as a disposable unfortunately.
  8. I'm with you! And Twilight by ELO has just come on my Last FM radio! But I'd prefer to have the actual record in my hand - have Time on CD.
  9. I hope it's not gonna end up being just files on a computer. How awful! No album covers and packaging. HMV are already downsizing their music CD sections so it doesn't bode well for us who prefer a physical single or album. Also the death of the CD single could spell the end of B-sides which is very sad. Hope it doesn't come to that.
  10. Well, you shouldn't goad me should you! Doesn't look fat to me and I'd like to see a bus driver attempt the splits!
  11. Been a Manics fan for 10 years now and haven't gone off them at any time but there you go, everyone's different. I love Idlewild as well. In fact all the bands I've liked throughout my life I'm still into really, to greater or lesser degrees. Thankfully I never had a 'crap pop' stage! An edit function has suddenly appeared now, how did I miss that this morning?
  12. Where would you be without us eh? 'You Love Us!' (I'll get my coat.) I would like to thank all you Scots that went for being in such great voice and singing along with everything. Cheers for that!
  13. Oh well, I'm sure Mrs B will be happy with that. Especially as he performed at TITP on their wedding anniversary. Brave man! : D Still trying to catch the acoustic version of This Joke Sport Severed on BBC iplayer. Haven't seen that yet!
  14. I don't play any instruments, though I'm the sort of person who has that 'ear for music' thing. Had the basics at school and all that. I like a variety of genres so I don't know if having a basic understanding of reading music effects the type of stuff that you listen to. Interesting question!
