  1. Hah! Used that video in the preview I did for the show this morning. It's great Music: Withered Hand, Debutant
  2. Yup, the trailer is really good. So cool to see stuff of this quality coming out of Aberdeen. Do you have any more info about your exhibition Tim? The Kilau dudes usually send me some stuff but get in touch at thekiosque@googlemail.com if you have any blurb and I'll put the trailer up on the site. Only, if you're cool with that obviously...
  3. No, makes total sense and it's along those lines I'm thinking of anyway, cheers.
  4. No, I'm with you just find them a bit clunky and part of the reason the site works is it's clean and simple. Will probably end up being something you can view either weekly or monthly. Whatever it is, it'll take a wee while to organise so bear with me!
  5. Thing is, I'm not a huge fan of grids/calendars. I am going to expand it though and having one big long list won't work so I'm looking at different ways of doing it. Cheers for the kind words though everyone...
  6. Cheers, Our gig guide will be expanding soon by the way. Noticed a few others both online and print springing up too which is all good. Thing is, there are so many last minute changes etc (especially with Drummonds/Tunnels) that they're out of date as soon as they're published. That's not a dig at those venues by the way. It's the same everywhere.
  7. I think mine was Sonic Youth's 'Daydream Nation' although I might have blanked some others out for reasons of trying to convince myself I'm cool, I've a nagging feeling that the first Soup Dragons album may well be the truth It was 1987/88 anyway. Christ. As an aside I've got a 7" on Oily by a band called 'Tools'. No recollection as to why/how I've got it. I know it was an Aberdeen label and they put out the early APB stuff but not much about the label beyond that. Anyone tell me more? Amazingly, someone has put the Tools record online here
  8. Top line-up, you should try and get some national/out-of-town press coverage for this one...
  9. We've got a couple of tickets to give away for this one. Cheers to Mark from IMP for making it possible. The Fruit Bats album is really good by the way. Been growing on me big time this week... Music/Competition: Fruit Bats
  10. Cool. By the way Geoff Ellis has confirmed there won't be a Connect this year again (link below) but they're looking at 'Satellite Events' Get on it, people that can get on these sort of things, something up this neck of the woods would be good... T in The Park organiser Geoff Ellis interview - eFestivals exclusive
  11. Oof. This was fucking immense. Gig of the year contender. Cheers 'chilli'.
