  1. royal trux/ RTX rule. western exterminator gives me a rock chubby. sort it out. i'm nae letting jeniffer hen-re-re-he-mma- whats her name near my flat though...the daft googly junkie cow. She'd shoot up my tom cats piss. get BIZ to promote, he's mentally ill... actually get Flash from the moorings to sort the gig, RTX are a Moorings band....
  2. I'm bumping, but will also note interest in sharing dentistry tips with Jake at said gig. I might wear my new jacket that, i quote "makes me look like Guy Ritchie with a Crack habit". I will also be cracking the Ibanez Destroyer's gig hymen. so something for everyone then. yaldy/yasmin/fittiver/ayeright/binbags/daterape/
  3. i really liked Iron Man. It was cool. The thing with his heart and the fact he was a self made superhero added a nice twist. The Dark knight was overlong and mostly dull. Currently enjoying deathrace, for the third time...I'm low brow. Statham rocks though...they should really do a "crank II" set in Peterhead...who's doing the avengers? somebody should do a Slaine film...that would be adroit and gnarly.
  4. same here. Publicity? was it in the classified ad's in the Evening Express? I imagine what happened was Mark slurred- " ahm makk-ee suth, yess uh..the fall-uh, cooorious orraaaange...leeeemon tree...am not impressed-uh, with-tha re-launch-uh...same old same old-uh...eye-will not-uh be funded by ah-coooouncilll-uh....nowz a-fukk off an' hit tha booze" I'd easy pay him twenty quid to come round my house and read out my Spar reciept though. Top chancer indeed.
  5. who's PT?.... PT from the Who? I'm confused, his or her micro-celibrity has had little or no impact on my media nodes................. get a ferret.
  6. fair point. he's rich. he could pay a flunkey to respond to the fanmail. rubber stamp signature and promo photos. maybe he's feeling sad, needs the attention... at least he didnae shack up with a one legged whore.
  7. Todd Trainer Can't keep time! the guy from blues explosion is a bit ropey! etc. Ringo's nae really that bad is he?..... "ho-ho" 1. 1.TMlepeep2008....

    Your current read?

If you've not hit his tomes before I'd well reccomend James Kelman- Kinda like Irvine Welsh and Bank's cooler more authentic pissed uncle down the pub. His stuff is dense, hard to get into and odd- but its worth it. Last one i read was "land of the free"- or something similar, he really captures classic working class paranoia and inferiority. oops, perhaps that says more about me than him. his stuff is the nuts though, and you feel like its the real deal..i enjoy banks ( partic the bridge= masterwork) and welsh ( maribou storks= masterwork, for the same reasons as the bridge, hee..he) but he's the boss.
  9. i prefer Husker Du. Busted were so much better than foo fighters. Given they have split up, i'd say McFly piss all over the Foo's. ... Actually I might have heard this band rehearsing at Tom's: and they did sound pretty authentic.......................... Dave Grohl lost it when he got his teeth fixed...the big sellout...

    Your current read?

I'm working my way through my Clifford D Simak backlog, a bargain job lot from e-bay, a bit formulaic but pleasing. I'd thoroughly recommend "way station"- its class. Pastoral, gentle, intelligent sci-fi...great for bedtime reading.. Apart from that I'm halfway through Will self's Liver and looking forward to The Butt....allready I've had to raid the dictionary at 12.30 am just to see what the fuck he was talking about. flat earth news next i reckon.............
  11. Alan, in my tiny mind you should be playing vegas in ten years. for twenty grand a night. I'll remind you of you're north east roots and expect a free gratis pint................
  12. I saw them at the tunnels, a while ago: part of that two night thing they did. No complaints, great set, and the crabby man was on good form. Like someone else said, they are a bit of a hit and miss band- both on record and live. My friend saw them in Dundee years ago, and they were a bit rubbish and Mark. E. curtailed the set early.... is that not part of the enduring appeal of the Fall though?...he is a bit of a loose cannon.
  13. I'm really looking forward to this. All of it. Should be a thoroughly good night. Having never been to the East Nuke (this i feel, is how it should be spelled) I'm interested in whether they have a good selection of malts, mind you I'll nae doubt scrape by on Bells or Famous Grouse. Needs must, ---- no talking will be tolerated during our set. You'll have to shout the insults....
