  1. I hate people who every single day can't wait until it's the weekend so they can get drunk. Fuck off. If all you live for is the few hours on a Friday night where you might end up a bit more annoying than you already are, then you're wasting my air. I look forward to a a lot of different days for a lot of different reasons. I never look forward to drinking. I enjoy a tipple here and there. But it's not normally the highlight of my week. Also, if you hate your job so much that you want it to be Friday when it's Monday: change career.
  2. So is it beans or a bit of kenco you put in the bottom? Then just reuse same stuff for a day so you only top up with hot water?
  3. I'd hate to be in a band with him. "I got a new bass head to take on tour" "Can't use it" "Eh why nae?" "No room in the van." "How?" "My amazing cymbals and toms that i'll use once in one song on the entire tour but they are VITAL."
  4. I was actually thinking of getting Ramona Flowers from the cover of the... 3rd volume(?) of scott pilgrim tattooed on my leg.
  5. Pet hate - hurting yourself due to long fingernails.
  6. I chose the word 'fingering knowing some cunny funt would make me sound like a pervert. I've never tried fingering my ass. Always scared I'll get poop under my fingernail. x
  7. Any shops in Aberdeen still give out brown paper bags? With no ink on them? One to fit on someones head? p.s. I'm not shaggin' an ugly bird. Got an idea for a funny photo shoot.
  8. Yeah. Or if you're good at fingering your bass and you're writing amazing licks. And someone goes: "You're good. Really good. Why don't you take up 'real' guitar"... Gets right on my tits.
  9. Pretty sure it's FX. And yes, Season 1.
  10. I wish I had sky multi-room. Parents don't watch anything good. If it's not on 1234 or 5 it must be trash eh. Breaking Bad is starting too. That show is amazing.
  11. Yeah. Gonna sweet talk my colleague. But if he goes on holiday any time between us moving and me driving I'm fucked. I'll probs give him some petrol money though. If I have to get a train I'll try and get reimbursed.
  12. MW2 and Juiced 2 are gone. Also: BUMP.
  13. Pet Hate - the cost of driving lessons. My work are moving out the road in the summer and guess who can't drive.. And 12.40 a day on the train is a piss take. oh plus 53.50 to get a bus pass as i don't live in town-town. I need to pass and have a car before July. Not likely. FUCK.
  14. Ace-ic: Figuring out even more tricks on Ableton and Reason. For a year I have had no clue as to how certain things were done and was creating loops and stuff the hard way. Not no more. Thank you youtube! Also, seeing folk from TGYR that I haven't seen in a while last night. Pretty decent.
  15. scene pretty tough to watch too. Excellent film though, anyone who hasn't seen it needs to stop what they are doing and go buy it. xx I first saw this when I stayed up late to watch it as a 14/15 year old. Fucking horrified me that did.
  16. I'm selling some ps3 games and I thought I'd put up here before I go the amazon/play/ebay route. I've shown Game.co.uk preowned prices then my own. Of course, o.n.o. Anyone who knows me would tell you they'll all be in good nick. My policy is if it's not in the ps3, it's in its case. GTA IV -14.99 ...10 CoD Modern Warfare 2 - 19.99 ...15 CoD World at War - 17.99 ...15 Skate - 5.99 - ...5 mirrors edge - 2.98 ...3 Juiced 2 - 9.99 ...7 Resistance: Fall of Man - 7.99 ...5 Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 - 9.99 ...7
  17. American History X - Edward Norton plays neo-nazi Derek Vinyard. And he does it very well. The film shows why he became a neo-nazi and what happened as he went to prison. I won't spoil it but it show's him kerbing someone. Not in detail, but in the backround, and the thought of it gives me a shiver. But a great movie. Good story put forward really well with some great acting. *****
  18. game selling preowned games so cheap. I'm putting up a whole bunch of games to sell soon and they're undercutting me. I hope some folk here will just take pity.

    Your current read?

I've just started If You Liked School, You'll Love Work. Some pretty funny stories but I'm finding as Welsh writes and writes he gets worse and worse. It's not bad, in fact it's pretty fucking good. But it's definitely a step down from his earlier works. I'm moving on to the works of Chuck Palahnuik after I've done Reheated Cabbage and the plays Irvine Welsh wrote.
  20. It seems bartending is now something that doesn't require skill, but a student card. As people have said: bartending should be a skill. You should know the drinks your serving. If not, get to know them. I think we've got too many 'franchise pubs'. As much as I'll go to one for a pub lunch or so, the level of actual tending bar is not great. It's just someone that can count and pull a pint. And I'm glad we've got places like BrewDog where the people have a passion for what they do. And because they make their own beer, you can have tasters. They use stoppers on 330ml bottles don't they? and obviously just give you a little out the tap for other stuff. That's a great approach.
  21. Yeah it wasn't as good but I still laughed. Diddy is definitely one of the highlights of that film. I've seen the extended Forgetting Sarah Marshall but yet to see extended Get Him To The Greek, which I have on blu-ray. Hopefully some extra jokes in there.
  22. Would watch again? No. ** +1/2 Forgetting Sarah Marshall - Genuine lols from one of Judd Apatow's best and arguably most grown-up films. There's still the usual swearing, wacky characters, bad taste moments and occasional nudity, but the story is well told as blundering everyman Peter gets dumped by his stunning TV star girlfriend (the titular Sarah Marshall) and jets off to Hawaii by himself to try and get over her - then finds out she is staying in the same hotel with her new boyfriend, rock star Aldous Snow (Russell Brand). The best part is the dialogue, which was largely improvesed and has some hilarious moments. Jason Segel deadpans brilliantly as the po-faced, depressed ex-boyfriend, and Mila Kunis as Rachael is a delight. There's a great cameo for Paul Rudd as well. Would watch again? Yes ***** "I can see your Hoohaa!" I loved this film too. When I heard Russell Brand was in it I thought oh shit overacting on the way. But he was actually good. I might go home and watch this tonight now. In Get Him To The Greek's Blu-ray special features there's a live video of Jason Segel and Jack Black performing the Dracula song live during intermission at Russell Brand's Scandalous. I assumed this was when Gulliver's Travels was being filmed. Jason Segel is just an absolute genius. He wrote most songs for GHTTG too.
  23. The nack is to get sacked, not quit. If you quit you wont get hardly any money off of JSA. But if you're sacked you get more. I might get my gf up the duff too. Seems to work. Pet Hate: People complaining about facebook layout changes.
  24. It's not that. It's because no matter what, with housing benefits it goes straight from the dole to the council. The tenant doesn't see it. Where as with me, it goes Job>me>council. Just say I over spend or get a shit wage and can't afford rent? that's the council losing money. As shit as it is putting those who don't deserve flats, in flats is the best choice for the council. And I hate it. 5 months my gf has been officially homeless and not even the offer of a bedsit to her. But we see empty flats getting filled with scum. /Rant.
  25. E.g. Brewdog. It's good to get a taste. No point spending 3 on something you hate. Pet Hate: Junkie cunts getting flats before me and my girlfriend. We're hard-working folks. All because council is guaranteed money off the dole and not us. Aye, well we won't get evicted 'cause we wont be causing the usual amount of shite junkies do. Bastards.
