  1. Very Interesting, loads of space & potential. What do you Intend for the finished product?
  2. Who, Me? I like your Da better, He's got pedigree!
  3. What kind o spade do ye use for digging in? I prefer a traditional wooden shaft & steel to a mare modrin moulded plastic shite. And can you see to the other side of "Big" stages? coz keepin in touch while your playin is vital o_O

  6. What kind of condition is the sessionette in? And what effects might you be looking for?
  7. Steve was / is a great drummer, but it's been a while since he played drums, I think!
  8. Apart from D Innes, I've stood on a stage with both, beleive me. S. Ritchie is good. But not as good as he thinks he is.
  9. Dave Innes, hands down. Credentials to back it up. Any style. Witness it for yourself.
  10. I had a Gibson SG Classic which came with Gibson P100's, (Stacked/ hum cancelling P90's).Good sound though, I still have them & they're for sale. I replaced them with Lindy Fralin P90's, which get rave reveiws, but I didn't notice too muh of a difference. In the end I sold that guitar, so there ends my brief, but enjoyable venture into the world of P90. I know from friends & personal experience, that Bareknuckle pick ups do wonderfull P90's, & Tim would talk you through the minefield of choice. Good luck.
  11. Great amp, (Hi Andy), I sold this amp to MV, only because I had a surplus of amps at the time. When I rehearse there, it's my first amp of choice, or the Fender Twin II. The toppiness on the Gibson can be tamed by changing the speakers, (Which I experimented with many times). The Celestion V30's in there seem to be used as a generally efficient, cost effective OEM speaker by many amp builders, but, far better results can be had, if you can be bothered spending time swapping speakers. I currently have a 15watt 1 X 12 version for sale, If anyone is Interested? Once again, only because it's surplus to requirments.
  12. Yes, just borrowing friends stuff or hiring various set ups.
  13. So far he has. I suggested to him he could also upgrade the 15" Driver, which would Improve this set up. Good luck with your quest!
  14. JBL Eon's are good, but, you will need either a grahic Eq, or parametric Eq between the drum module out, & the input of the JBL. As you need to pull out the " boxy" mid frequencies usually present as you increase the level. This normally cant be acheived with a standard bass & treble controls. My son is currently trying a Carlsbro powered wedge, (1X 15 + Horn) & an extension wedge. Inexpensive & works Ok, as the amp section built into the powered wedge has a 7 band graphic to manage the EQ.
  15. My son is looking at the same requirment. He has a Yamaha DTX, & has tried a few options. A must is 15" drivers, as 12's & 10's will not handle any kick drum or low tom sounds. Ideally a Powered, 150watt minimum, wedge, (1 X 15 + horn), + an additional passive wedge, (Extension cab) 1 X 15 + horn. Or a small PA amp & 2 1 X 15 + horn Cabs.
  16. Went A.W.O.L. Remember your "Bovril" for up the mountain 8-) Re talent : I found a box of it lying around, thought I'd try it, & it's great stuff. I believe you find it at the end of rainbows, so keep your eyes peeled up that mountain:up:
  17. Experienced / Talented bass player required for Jazzy /Blues band. Own equipment & transport essential. Gigs pending, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, March.
