  1. Cymbals, snare and kick pedal. Just started drumming in a band and all my stuff is old and broken as it hasn't been used in about 5 years. Only a temporary thing so just need cheap crap stuff so I can practice/play gigs. If anybody has anything lying about they need rid of, let me know.
  2. Our mate James. He's also our live tech as well so it's pretty handy. Dallas you're so handsome, AND you look old. Surely you can just give them your word...
  3. We use the van from central every time we go away, have been touring fairly regularly lately and have had no issues with it. Something like 55 quid a night and it even has a wee bed. The milage is high, but it runs fine. You're also fully covered under the central coaches insurance/breakdown policy which is obviously very handy. You have to be over 25 and have over a year's driving experience as far as I know, I'm not sure if they restrict you because of endorsements. £300 deposit I believe.
  4. Hello all, I have been asked to make this ad as a favour for a friend. He has for sale a korg microX synthesiser, it's this model here: http://www.korg.co.uk/products/pro_keyboard/microx/pk_microx.asp Comes with carry case and is in mint condition. The user manual has gone missing but it's available to download from the above link. Asking price is £280, get in touch with me on here if you're interested and I can hook you up with contact details. Don't ask me any technical questions as I'm pretty clueless when it comes to synths, I can forward on any questions you have to the seller. Cheers.
  5. Pedal is now sold people. Cheers to all who showed an interest.
  6. This is an awesome distortion pedal, but I have to sell it as I'm skint and since I only use it as a booster it's pretty much wasted on me. It's got a valve in it and it powered by a 20 watt power supply which comes with the pedal. It's in great nick. Has 3 channels: a crunch channel, a heavier distortion channel and a clean channel that changes your natural amp tone to that of the type of cleans you'd get from the blackstar HT series. It is a seriously good sounding pedal. they retail between 150 and 170 online so I don't think I'm being unreasonable when I ask for £90. Open to offers. I don't have it on my person at this minute but I'll upload pics as and when I do. I also hav and Epiphone Les Paul junior for sale. Been slightly modded in terms of a spray job, new tuning pegs, a bulldog p90 pickup and a custom bridge. Plays really nice and sounds pretty good for such a cheap guitar. I've fixed a few tuning issues and things since I bought it and it's playability has improved dramatically as a result. £70 Cheers.
  7. Hi Alan, Got any pics/a price in mind? If you like just post pics here or e-mail to darylrankin@gmail.com Cheers!
  8. Just bought my first ever amp head for portability reasons, one of those Orange Micro Terrors, it's awesome. So small it even fits in my pedal board but loud as hell. I'm on the lookout for a cab to go with it, any size considered really but as I'm not particularly fussy as I'm poor and on the lookout for something cheap. Not got much to exchange I'm afraid, but no harm in asking what people have to offer. Just post below or PM. Cheers!

  10. Yeah, myself and a friend have just been mucking about with it. Perhaps it could be panned a bit better but it's just a line out from the desk straight into logic. Turns out producing sound for videos is a bit tougher than expected. I'm still fairly pleased with it, beats a phone recording imo.
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gE0fvQvs0Y I remember some folk on here enjoying this tune, here's a newer live version
  12. i've been in the market for one of those blackstar heads for a while now, just out of interest, why are you selling it?
  13. Hello one and all, We recently did a performance for Glasgow based BAAD sessions, an online live session channel. We recorded five songs in total, some old and some new. We're going to upload one video a week in the build up to our next run of shows which will be announced soon. However we can confirm for now that we will be playing a headline show at the Tunnels on Wednesday 8th August alongside Pronto Mama, Seams and Katie Thomas. Tickets can be bought here for £5: http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user/?region=xxx&query=schedule&promoter=marionettes&interface=marionettes Here is the first of the videos, Horrorscope, a track from our latest EP: Enjoy, feedback is always appreciated. Thanks. Marionettes.
  14. Romily Alice from Japanese Voyeurs is immense.
  15. I might not swap an acoustic but I'd consider purchasing your strat if you were keen? What colour is it?
