I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a letting agent? I notice that there are quite a few complaints about agents from tenants in the Rant thread but does anyone have experience of using an agent to rent out their flat? I am going to be away for a year so it wouldn't be practical to arrange a private lease. Thanks!

I would recommend the King Street Dental Practice. It's not too expensive and I didn't have any problem getting an appointment. I'm not sure if it is still taking on new patients but it's worth a try! A friend of mine used G Dens once and her experience wasn't particularly good. She found it to be a huge waste of time because they couldn't sort her problem out. After two unsuccessful treatments at G Dens she registered with a private practice.

I've never been able to make sense of the lettering system used in my block of flats. A and B are on the top floor (make sense so far), F and C are the next floor down and D and E the next floor after that. ?(
