Top work guys, as I alluded to I am delighted to be listening to a recording where I can actually hear the bass (last time I got recorded I got a bit buried in the mix, despite my protestations, grr). Some cracking playing going on there. It's been on heavy rotation yesterday and today.

Apologies for my highly informal notation and you are correct to pull me up on it, but it's got nothing to do with maths. It's a logical conjunction.

Unfortunately for him in my case I could be in either the green or yellow areas because I cannot answer his question about the music genre. Either way, the proposition fails.

Of course, the proposition is flawed because he didn't ask if I could stand being in Dundee for more than the time it takes to drive through it, but that's another matter altogether

It always amazes me when people seem to think they have the right to behave in any way they please on a privately run message board. Management (mods and admins) reserve the right to refuse you access to the services they provide. It's the same down the pub when you get too rowdy/pissed. You get refused any more booze, and if you don't like that and make a tit of yourself arguing the toss then you get kicked out. I'd warn you a couple of times then kick you out of my house if you persisted in putting your feet on my coffee table. What's the difference?

I drove all the way down Bedford Road this morning to get to work. I'm not saying they won't close it later on, but as of around 9am it was open.

A decent USB or Firewire sound interface? The built in sound interfaces on computers (especially laptops) sometimes have horrible latency so there's a very offputting delay between what you sing/play and what you hear as you're recording. Even more useful, the external interface will likely have built in microphone preamp and also the ability to get a live monitor feed to headphones. I have an E-MU 0202 but I'm pretty sure there are far newer, nicer units available these days.

Unsurprisingly no Rippers or El Toros come out of the woodwork so far
