  1. I dunno, considering his level of play a 1 time all star is pretty underrated.

I mean mainly he's underrated because he's a purely defensive center.  He's not the kind of player that's going to put up 30 occasionally like Bosh, Dwight etc.  Those kind of players never get the praise they should.

  2. I dunno until he went to Dallas the first time no one seemed to care much for him.  He had the one Defensive player of the year in new york and a few ok years.

Don't see him getting the kind of love Big Ben Wallace got when he was doing the same kind of stuff years ago.  Basically the same type of player.

  3. Chandler is such an underrated player.

He does everything I'd want in a big man when I have plenty of scorers.  Block, rebound, defend the post and make easy dunks.

  4. Sounds like a big trade in the offering.

Hope it comes through, Dirk seems like a great guy.  Would love him to get another ring.  Believe he took a fairly massive home town discount to stay in Dallas as well.

  5. Caught up on this last night had 4 episodes stock piled to watch.

Found them really slow.  Favourite bits were with Abraham and co.

The hospital stuff was so slow, they just seemed to eek it out over as many episodes as possible.

Gutted about Beth, I liked her.  Daryl and her were the best odd couple.

  6. He was only given one read passes as well.  He has one of the best WR in the NFL on that team, Gordon was open on multiple plays and the ball was late or not thrown at all.

I know that Hoyer had been struggling recently as well but as far as I can see this season Hoyer gives you the best chance to win.  Cleveland were still capable of playoffs.

  7. Pretty hilarious wasn't it.

He's Tebow 2.0, they try and compare him to Russell Wilson now but Wilson is a special player with excellent decision making.

  8. Good goals in the Arsenal game last night.  Ramsey's was stunning and Podolski tried to take the net off again!

Not sure why Podolski doesn't get more games against the mid and low tier teams in the EPL.  I see why he doesn't play against the top teams as he offers no protection and little in movement.  Going forward though he's such a threat.

  9. I wrote out a huge post about the weekend's action. Went to post and the site froze. I'll re-do it in summary form.

Marvin Lewis' flag was a highlight. Mad props to him for playing the game so sneakily. Catch 22 for the refs.

Giants might have a worse record than the Jets come season's end. Harbaugh to the Jets is interesing, the RGIII rumours worrying (although I still think he could be a top QB, not sure it'd be worth the risk). Really hope we miss out on/don't go for Mariotta (Geno mark II) in the draft.

JJ Watt is incredible. Putting up numbers each week that are what players look to reach in a season.

Pleased for Manziel getting meaningful snaps and a TD. The drama fan in me wants him to get the starter position.

Problem for anyone that wants Harbaugh is they have to trade for him.  Baalke will get value in that trade as well, he's one of the best GMs around.

Pretty sad if Harbaugh goes, he's been terrific leading us out of a pretty horrible decade.  Saying that the media has a total boner for rumours about him and the team.  So him leaving might reduce the attention on us and let us get on with being a good team again.

Ideally want Gruden to replace him if he'll leave ESPN.  I think if any team has a chance of getting him we do.  He has a team that's pretty close to another Superbowl run and a QB that he can really work with.  If not I'd rather get a college coach (Standford's springs to mind)  or top coordinator (one of Seattle's ideally) than a failed NFL head coach.

On the RG3 thing, if we needed a QB I'd be happy trading for him.  As long as it was a mid rounder not a 1, 2 or 3.  He can still make it with a little love from the Head Coach and staying injury free.  A 4th would be value I'd say.

I like Manziel but I feel more bad for Hoyer, he's done really well in his starts apart from the last two weeks and they still might replace him.  He's a Cleveland native and fan as well.  Sucks to be him really.  Fans and team are just waiting for him to fail.

  10. Welbz hasn't had that many big games at Arsenal yet and he never really got a chance to play up front for United in big games.

Probably a little early to write him off just yet.  I do agree that he needs to work on finishing more chances though, not just easy ones.

  11. Rams would be laughing their way to the bank if their own QB wasn't made out of glass.

Even after the trade all they dropped down was 4 places and gained 2 one's and a 2 (that 2 was only 7 picks out of the first as well). Crazy.

    • Redskins got: 2nd-overall pick (2012)
    • Rams got: 2nd-overall pick (2014), 6th-overall pick (2012), 22nd-overall pick (2013), 39th-overall pick (2012)
  12. Yeah it seemed a bit mad but it's not the coach that drafted him is it?

He'll get another shot somewhere I think.  Maybe a back up though.

Anyone else think RG3 might be done in Washington, if so that has to be one of the worst trades of all time.  Even better would be if QB needy St Louis picked him up.  That would be the ultimate joke on Washington.
