As a whole didn't like that episode.  Felt like 35 minutes of filler and then the end bit with Bob was great.  Poor Bob, knew something was going to happen to him when they were building him up as a character.

Costa's injury was a blessing for me.  I had Alexis as vice captain.  Points.

Broncos Niners game last night was a bit of a sad watch.

Our defense really stepped up with the big missing pieces (2 All Pro linebackers) so far this season but with Willis missing as well our LB core was unrecognizable and you can't just hold it together against probably the most potent offense in the league.

You don't think it smells of the last gasp roll of a desperate GM?

I worry for this season.

It's like Arsene can't see when things are going wrong. Even before the season we don't buy when there are blatant holes in the squad and he didn't address them.

We seem to have no alternative tactics to stop us getting twatted in big games and the injuries are mounting up again.

All this and the board still come out and declare Wenger irreplaceable. Madness.

Great pick up for the Jets unless it comes out that he had problems and that's why they traded him.  There was rumours he had issues in Minnesota. 

Bit harsh on Ivory he always looked pretty impressive as part of the committee in New Orleans when I saw him play.

Decker is a good number two receiver but the Jets paid him like a one.  Need a proper number one receiver but those are hard to come by.  That's what gets you touchdowns though.

Colb is right, your schedule is ok and the Pats next 6 game schedule is awful.  It's something like Bears, Denver, San Diego, Colts, Lions and Packers.

Did people not like season 4?  I thought Season 4 was head and shoulders above season 3.

Probably that, I used to play regular fantasy football and won my league a few years.  Would be more fun with people you know I imagine though.

I was most impressed with Carol.  She seems better rounded now, she was verging on mental last season having been utterly useless season one.

Yeah I'm not sure of the confidence against the pats but depending what the bookies are saying I might have a handicap bet on the Jets.  I reckon they'll lose by less than 10 because the Jets DLine should crush that Pats OLine.

Anyone watch last nights?

We won again last night, Kap played well and threw for over 300 yards.  He has very similar numbers to Steve Youngs similar number of games.  Big shoes.

The media will probably still stir some stories about locker room dissent and that they all hate Harbaugh.  They've been doing that the past two seasons as well.  Won't rock the boat as long as the team keeps winning.

Bills lost to the Pats. And since the Pats are basically "the Boston team", I fucking hate them. I have nothing else to say about it really, except...I fucking hate Boston sports teams. As a newbie to the Bills, I've now learned this is shared amongst Bills fans. I'm fitting right in.

Though, 3-3 isn't bad too bad is it? What sort of record is likely to get us into the playoffs?

Anything around 10 wins should get you in or around the playoff wildcards.  If your division is weak you could get in with 9-7.

We usually get a good few Pack games as well.

Cowboys looked pretty legit but I'd be pretty worried if I was a Seahawks fan, I mean they'll make the playoffs no problem but they've lost to two elite teams so far and their defence just hasn't looked capable of stopping them.

The offence as well.  What happened?  They were in a tie game and they just abandoned the run in the second half.  3 series in a row they threw it on first and second down.  Just run it!!

That was a lovely move in the 76ish minute for him.

No I haven't seen it all just the highlights.  I can't judge their whole run game on the box score but from what I saw in the highlights one or two runs aside where they made first downs you can't call the Colts running great.  

For me they're still too reliant on Luck throwing for everything to be a real contender (I think they thought that too when they traded for Richardson last year).

Both running backs?  

Foster was brilliant as always but Richardson had 41 yards off of 17 carries.  His YPG are anemic, what a waste of a first round pick that trade was.
