It is Football Manager 2015 Classic mode so much better than handheld or mobile (whatever they called it)!

I'm in for this, I don't have much on my kindle yet though, just the HP collection, couple of terry pratchett and working through the Game of Thrones.

Ah, I see now the Kindle Fire is a completely different device. I think i'll get the paperwhite. Can't see the need for the jump to the voyage, unless I'm missing something? seems like all you get is an adaptive sensor and more pixels.

Yeah that's pretty much all the extras.

If you're going for a flat back four there seems to be trouble picking a right back.

Has to be Neville.  He played at a really high level for well over a decade and in his mid to late career became an amazing crosser of the ball.  Loved a dirty tackle too.

Realistically, he'd have gotten in the squad a few years ago. Even at his 'peak' I doubt he'd get much of a look-in now. He'd get nowhere near the current Wales squad. 

I think he'd have got a good few caps for us don't think he'd have got near 100.  He's just a better version of Scott Brown, for 5/6 years Barton was a really good player, total cunt of a human being but still good at football.

I've never liked books with lots of names. I gave up on Lord of the Rings after about 4 pages.

 

The names were really Tolkien their toll.

Just finished the first Song of Ice and Fire.  It's pretty good so far but George RR Martin is not really a very good writer.

I feel like the whole story would be easier to read if he had just written down all the ideas and then had someone else write it.

The hardest part is the million names you need to remember.  Old Bill brother of Ben who married Tim's sister at x place and now he's lord or blah blah.  Then like three hundred pages later it's just oh here's Ben and just straight on.  WHO THE FUCK IS BEN.

The worst was the Dothraki's.  Trying to remember which of them was a bloodrider and who was part of Danny's Khas and 

when they started to throw down it was hard to keep up with who was who and who was fighting who.

Still you can feel it's all building up so I'm looking forward to book two.

I don't know what Arsenal fans really want anymore.  1 point off second in the league (should probably be doing a bit better but have had a bunch of injuries again), FA cup semi (good draw).  

Obviously the Monaco was an embarrassment and seeing the draw is now Juventus it's even worse!  Still it's not bad, certainly could be worse!

Right at the end of my re reads of the Harry Potter series.  I'm getting the sads all over again that this is the last book in that universe.

I'd love to read books based on Aurors or Bill Weasley's job as a curse breaker for Gringotts.  So much more it would be great to read about that wizarding world.  I don't even really want another Harry Potter story just more from the same world with new characters.

Borland has retired as well.  After 1 season, saying he's worried about the long term effects of head blows.  He didn't even get concussed last season so it just shows how worried some NFL players are about whats happened to players that have had long careers and then died in their 50s.

Sucks for us, that was the ready made Willis replacement.

Finally gives a deep threat.  Close to 900 yards off 50 catches is exactly what we need.  Boldin does all the dirty work and Vernon needs to prove himself this year.  He wanted a new contract at the start of last season, you aren't even getting any kind of contract with a year like his last year.

We signed Torrey Smith.  I sort of forgot about him, a remember him from a couple of years ago looking like he was going to be a 1000 yard receiver/huge deep threat.

Haven't seen much from him last couple of years, has he fallen off?  We got him at a nice price as well.

Jets linked with Fitzpatrick now. Dependable back up, ready to step up if the geno experiment fails. What with REVISISLAND back, my off season excitement has reached fever pitch. Cue crushing disappointment.

Decker gets to go back to being the number 2 receiver now as well.  That is good.

Jackson is going to get significantly less reps at RB at least, they might have him in some more specialist packages but McCoy is a top 3 RB in the league.  He'll be taking most of the downs.  I'm sure that will be part of the reason he moved from Philly as they tried to use him as more of a scheme back.

Yeah Cassel had that one season at New England and then mediocrity since then.  He's probably still better than Manuel.

Seahawks getting Graham.  Full on re building in New Orleans then.  Brees could go as well.

I was reading the Colts are going hard for Gore.  Much better chance of a ring there this season for Frank than Philly I'd say.

I remember watching the draft that year and was hoping that's who we'd take.  I thought he'd play at least 12 seasons.  He's been an all pro in pretty much all his seasons and only missed one pro bowl in his 8 years.  What a beast.  HOF.  He'd be a first ballot HOF if we'd won that Superbowl.

Anyone know any more bands that also do a live ceilidh that are also good at covers.

Finding it really hard to find bands that don't just play a CD for the ceilidh.

Who cares about all the money were making (10 million-ish in transfers in the last 3 years) if you don't keep it together when you can to try and win things.

I understand why he sold GMS as it was get 250k now or get nothing in summer.  But why sell Armstrong.  Burnley were offering 100k less than Celtic, you'd get at least the same amount in summer when he still had a year left on his deal.  Just fucking keep him.  We were in a cup final, a cup quarter and 3rd in the league behind by like 5 points or something at the time.

But Thompson is more concerned with the financial balance.  In the past, sure.  When we had sizable debt.  We don't now, we're in a financially strong position.  

Fuck it, if you don't want to win why would what's left of the team.  No wonder we're on a slide.
