Right, not a homegrown product but he's fair 'kicked on' since moving. There's something about the set up at Atletico that just breeds success. Have they ever had a mis-firing striker? He scored twice as many goals for Atletico last season than he did during any of his seasons at Real Sociedad.
Not really he scored 22 in the league last season and he scored 16 in it the season before. He was a cracking player at Sociedad as well!

I thought the Darmian one was a stone waller, I didn't understand why the pundits were suddenly so against it.
Skrtl, Shawcross and Huth have been doing that every corner for the past 5 years and have very rarely given a foul away. Referees seem far less afraid to give fouls against the attacker as its only a free kick and no one really mentions it again. Give a pen and it's talked about for a while afterwords.
Grow a pair refs, it's fucking shit watching defenders pull and clamber all over attackers. I want to see headed bullets.
Bring back Cahill.

Bournemouth got screwed last night.
Their goal ruled out for a non existent foul and then Liverpool's is offside.

I wouldn't take too much from pre season to be honest. The only game the actual first string plays more than a few series is game 2 or 3 of pre season. You never know who the different groups are playing against, sometimes a backup QB will put a great drive together but it's against the other teams 3rd string.
Just look at Blaine Gabbart leading the 49ers to a TD in the first pre season game.
I think Bills will be good this season but fall short because of the QB play. Defensive line is going to be legit as fuck.

Someone stole my team name. I've had Chamakh my bitch up for the last 3 or 4 years.
This is bullshit.

How do the chips work? Do you get a certain number like with wildcards?
I hope there's no way to buy extra chips because that would make a competitive league pointless!

I don't think Dzeko is the answer for Arsenal, he's better than Giroud but not that much better. Arsenal need a striker but I think they need one that creates a bit more for himself than Dzeko does.

You'll probably still have a go for Souttar this summer.

Doubt it, he hasn't been given much of the cash from previous good money deals (other than his kick backs of course huehuehue).
I'd like to see him get a little of it, revisit the bid for Scott Allan from January and at least use Cifci's wages on a couple more players.

I jest, it's a good bit of business for United. He's clearly got a bit of talent but I'm not sure he has the temperament to not be the 'big man', which he won't be at Celtic.
He's also horrifically all or nothing when playing for United. He's either amazing and clear man of the match or you have to watch him trot about and give the ball away with pointless flicks that have about a 10% chance of coming off.
We're looking really thin squad wise now. It's a lot of risk to base are squad for next season so heavily on kids.

A year to run on his deal somewhere between 1 and 1.5 million is a good price. Shame he doesn't want to go to Wigan but he wont sign a new deal and there's no point letting him walk for nothing next year.

Spurs have nailed free agency so far, they should be monsters next season especially if they can get Manu to play another year as part of the rotation.
I'm not sold on Jordan at the Mavs. Just feels like he benefited from being the number 3 in LA. He is obviously a great defender but Dallas need him to be much more than that.

They must have cap for Aldridge if they had it for Love I guess?
I saw an article earlier that Lamarcus was looking at the Lakers or Spurs. The Spurs front office would have done a hell of a job if they pull that off. Transitioning from era to era in that team with almost no fall off from contention. Amazing.
-
It was pretty heavily reported that he and Lebron didn't get on that well (could just be media stirring but still).
Maybe he'd just rather play somewhere else, the only teams that are going to offer Love a big deal are teams that think they are on the cusp of contending so I doubt he's that worried about going elsewhere. He'd be signed to go with a another star player (like in LA), no garbage team is going to base their future around him after his time in Minnesota.
