    Lost

That was an episode that had already been shown, The first new episode is next week.

    Heroes

Jericho does start off great but I thought it tailed off a bit. Heroes, on the other hand, just keeps getting better. I'm looking forward to Heroes, Battlestar, Lost, Jericho, Prison Break restarting in that order.
  3. Is this right ? Is the implication then that HD_DVD isn't ?

    Heroes

Sheepie beat me to it. Vanished was ok at best but Smith was getting really good. Have you watched all of Jericho yet ? I really liked it but think it has tailed off a bit recently. I'll still watch it though, I'm a sucker for survival/post apocalypitc stuff

    Heroes

This program is brilliant. Watched all 11 now - damn your american series break (thats me waiting for Lost, Heroes, Jericho, Battlestar and Prison Break - Vanished and Smith are both dropped !) Hiro is fantastic. I must find that sword. Save the cheerleader, save the world !

    Your current read?

Not quite - Crowley died in 1947 ! Page was associated with him because he bought a house that had belonged to Crowley where a lot of mysterious goings on allegedly occurred. Somewhere around Loch Ness wasn't it ?
  7. Oi ! Watch what you're saying about Bishopbriggs
  8. Agreed , I've read them all a few times.
  9. My favourite Iain Banks is Espedair Street followed by the Bridge and Crow Road. Favourite Iain M was probably Player of Games

    Lord Of the Rigs

Lord of the Rigs - is that the trilogy about the roustabout ? FWIW I've read LOTR at least 7 times. It's been a couple of years so I'm thinking about starting again.
  11. Anyone else starting to get bored with this ? Our hero gets a conscience - great ! How many times can that greasy git lose his hand and not bleed to death ? - apparently wrapping your sleeve round it is enough to survive while running from the police (twice) Any bets that they just miss the plane next week while hiding from the bent cop ? (You'll notice I'm not good on names)
  12. Nope I'm watching them religiously every week. Nice twist this week with his father and old sleaze bag took some hiding !

    'mon Scotland!!!

The French were all over us - they had something like 69% of possession. But they didn't get it in the back of the net (offside apart) and we did. It makes a change the Scots having some luck. Don't know if it will last tonight though.

    'mon Scotland!!!

Delighted to say I was in the North Stand for the game and it was the best atmosphere ever. when the goal was scored we linked up with the rows in front and behind and must have jumped and shouted for 10 minutes. My heart was in my mouth for the last 10 minutes and then when the final whistle went we celebrated all over again.
  16. Yeah maybe a little bit. It was my first post I'm just jealous of how easy the new generation of guitarists has it. (I'm old). I used to have to sit for hours putting the needle back time after time to try and work out tracks from vinyl. And tuners; The first thing I told people when they asked me to teach them guitar was learn how to tune it. If you can't tune a guitar yourself your never going to be able to play it. Now I'm not talking about having a tuner on stage to help keep you in tune without boring people to death at the end of every song. I'm talking about people that rely on electronic gadgets to make up for the fact that they're tone deaf !
  17. Yeah, you've even forgotten how to spell Honours ! Guitar tab sites, while useful are rarely correct and encourage guitarists to take shortcuts in learning how to play guitar. This , imho, degrades the quality of new guitarists. I never learned to read music but had to work everything out by ear. You don't need the sheet music if you can do this. ...and don't start me about electronic tuners
