I nearly sold it here a while ago but it fell through and i hate ebay so here goes again Marshall jcm 800 2204 (50watts) hi and low gain inputs, serviced and revalved a few months back and has a pentode/triode swith for power reduction. Excellent condition considering its about 25 years old. killer tone (well i think so) and i'l throw in a gator amp head case all for 550. ono. I aslo have the matching jcm800 B cab if anyone wants to deal for the 2 together 780. I live in peterhead but i could drop it off in aberdeen somewhere convienent. Any questions just ask.

I'm sure they wont stray to far from their beaten track which is cool with me.... they deliver exactly what they claim straight up rock n roll and i have to say im suspicious of anyone who doesnt like AC/DC

im thinking of selling my jcm 800 mk2 50 watt lead series (2204) vertical high and low inputs re valved and serviced earlier this year by emmerson williams in dunfermline, the amp is in excellent condition considering its from 1982 (i think). It also been fitted with a pentode/triode switch which cuts power down to 25 watts reducing the volume by about 25%. Im not 100% sure i want to sell but if someone makes a good enough offer i'l let it go.

i saw pie shop play last night and they were excellent. good set of classic rock and some newer tunes all played very well. i think if your out for a night on the piss it doesnt matter whether its covers or original if its done well.

depends on what your after, if you wanna have a few beers with mates and take in some classic rock go for it, i think pie shop do a good job at it ......... if you want something new look else where

i cant believe after moaning about my wrist hurting, the scaffolding i was dismantling today callapsed and i broke said wrist and am now in a cast for 6 weeks........ what a cunt i am

just to clear a couple of things up people seem to be debating, most of my practise is broken up learning jazz standards (i say learn because im shite at them) as i find these good for discovering new chords, working on something i find technically difficult, learning songs either for my covers band or for myself, and just jamming along with songs or backing tracks. Im not a creative person so i tend not to work on anything original, but then again maybe if i put some time and thought into it i 'd suprise myself.

i'l be more relaxed though

cheers for the replys, i'll give it a couple of days before i start playing again and spend more time warming up and take breaks more often (a good excuse to look at pornhub and youporn). I think these are my biggest problems as i dont grip the neck tight as for posture i'll have to check

the last couple of weeks i've been getting pains in my fretting hand (mainly wrist) after playing. I dont sling my guitar low for the above reason and i'm pretty sure i dont have a bad posture when sitting, the last few months i have been playing 4 hours + a day, so im hoping a few days off may sort it. Just wondered if anyone else has had similar problems or advice cheers all
