  9. Up themselves? How so? I caught that show and saw nothing at all questionable. There were some sound difficulties initially but they behaved reasonably. But regarding their performance yesterday? Wonderful as always playin' a cool mix of new plus much loved songs. Milk Kan? Not really my bag. The Hijacks? Yet another fine performance from these folks. Lookin' forward to catching ya again Monday.

  14. Indeed. The recordings are quite rough it's true, but I think really capture the spirit of the time. The liner notes by Kill Your Pet Puppy man Alistair Livingstone make this release that bit more special too. And for more information about KYPP visit kill your pet puppy
  15. An excellent band indeed. Full length II pushed its way through my letter box earlier this week and a finer disc you will not come across. Yeah had heard they could not enter the UK, but with travelling to the Feeding Of The 5000 shows London would have found making their Glasgow show extremely difficult.
  16. Hilarious indeed. Anyone else catch their appalling cover of The Ruts classic Staring At The Rude Boys? Catch the original here:

  22. I do not think for a moment that Mark and co believed what they were doing was in any way revoultionary or would inspire many thousands of people not only in this country but across the world, but the fact is it did. The impact of said community is still being felt today.
