i thought they did well in 2nd half. as you say though, rotten skillz but with the odd flash of nice. paul hartley just ran around with his arms out like a mummy trying to push any czech player within a 15 yard radius any other day that woud have been a defeat. the czechs didnt bust much of a gut in last 20 mins and scots were still first to/held up the 2nd ball, wouldnt have happened normally. well done to the players/levein/houston though

hmmmmmm. not really convinced on the album after looking forward to it for sooooooooo long. but with working in abdn these days I amy well make it along.....

ha. I don't do negative much. at least Aberdeen have had some ups this season. we have won ONE league game this season out of 22. ONE. AERRGH! The only up's we have had were our cup draws and young aaron sinclair looking the absolute dogs bollocks.

i can kinda relate with the abdn fans. im seriously at the point of not going to anymore away games this season as we have lost 14, drawn 6 and won 1. 21 fucking games. it hurts like hell when I see us do well at berwick, put in a great shift at hibs and fall to the floor at queens fucking park.

i seen him on friday in the moorings rocking out to queens of the stone age. he has the best face in aberdeen

good gig. cellar is a great venue. thought min diesel were pretty decent, sounded a lot like mission of burma at times with some good guitar and bass riffs, was told that stu ain't a drummer and is still learning so im sure once it tightens up and gets a bit of dynamic i'll be right into it. 6/10 y change were no bad, couple of slow heavy bits with the bass tapping rocked my world. The bass needs a bit more definition though i.e. less low end gain and "wide" sound and more "sledgehammer" type precise sound where you can make out the notes would make the dynamic jump right out. 6/10 Mr Peppermint were pretty good, I was expecting yet another dull lightning bolt/coachwhips/etc etc band regurgitating the same old strucutres and scales and going for noise/feel over music. Thankfully they had a shitload of interesting songs and guitar bits. They had their sound nailed too. Have always disliked those mask vocals in other bands as it simply reeks. For me the vocals could add a whole lot of dynamic to their sound if they concentrated on them a bit more and actually said something. 7/10 Carson Wells were band of the night for me, thought they were absolutely stunning. Clinical set. Tight as a nun, great sound, great songs; total winner. If Russ Bray was watching their set he would have been croaking out a fair few one-haaaaaaaaaaa-handredaannneeeiiighty's. Looking forward to hearing recordingsa/more gigs. 10/10

it is greg james. it has been amazing to see all the PR going about. Steven Tweed interview in the Times, Sky Sports, Article in Scotsman, Radio, Blogs every day etc Its been a positive in what has been a very hard season to take!! Hopefully it goes up from here....
