  9. Yo. Moshulu tonight @ 7.30pm. Union of Knives Kenetic The Usuals InCasino mmhmm. This is what the kids say... UNION OF KNIVES New single: Evil Has Never (12th March) These Knives can cut it. (The Independent) The sound that Thom Yorke is striving fora band bursting with potential. (Sunday Times) "Marvellous" (NME) Critically acclaimed, Scottish trio, Union Of Knives release a new single, Evil Has Never through Relentless Records on Monday 12th March. Evil Has Never was remixed for the single by Steve Fitzmaurice (U2, Depeche Mode), the original version featured on the bands debut album Violence & Birdsong (released in August 2007). The single will be available on download three weeks earlier on 19th February. It is currently being used by Zane Lowe to trail his Radio 1 show. The video for Evil Has Never is lifted from a short film directed by Award winning director Joseph Briffa, one of last years three Tartan Shorts directors. The film entitled The Cut Up Suite can be watched at Union Of Knives and was filmed at various locations in Glasgow.

Lifetime wouldbe amazing, been trying to work on that actually. Gallows - Watch this space. You, Me and the Atom Bomb - I'll send out some feelers.
  15. Aw, cheers! I did quite enjoy the Circus, however I would agree that it wasn't that freakish. The bit with the girl and the guy twisting themselves up in the fabric was pretty cool - from a visual standpoint and also that it must take a bit of effort to learn how to do it just right. Although I guess when you are trying to take something like that into the mainstream it can't be too freakish, I imagine for a lot of people in the audience it was pretty extreme. But I like the idea of us (OS) putting on better shows! LOL! Edit: This isn't Jamesy. It is Fliss, I'm using his computer and forgot that he was signed in and not me!
  16. i think it's quite funny actually
  17. Ace! What time will The Killers be there?

  20. ladies and gents. tickets in one-up till half 5, then on the door! x
  21. For a start, 1-up charge a 10% booking fee on all ticket sales, so if you got them there, then they'd cost 9.35 and on the door they cost 10, so I suppose I better apologise for that 65p 'hike' then, for a band that a couple of years ago, people would have never dreamed on coming to Aberdeen, me definitly concluded, I mean, I guess that 65p to see a band that's came all the way from Seattle is a massive ask, right...? Secondly, by contract, door price has to be higher, so I have no choice. Thirdly, charging an extra 65p screams of covering costs? If I hadn't sold one ticket for this show, and then did 300 on the door, it'd only take in an extra 195 at the very most, and believe me 195 doesn't make too much difference, especially when the band has a vs % deal, which 95% of bands I work with do. And on the financial note, taking band like The Blood Brothers will never ever be a money earner for us, it's more of a coup than anything else, and something I really wanted to do, but hey, if you're going to let your misled ramblings cloud your mind and become the important thing, then boycott my shows, after all, we are the only promoter in the country selling tickets online.... Lighten up, my ticket supplier fucked up, not too much I can do about it. If it really bothered you that much, you could've went and got tickets from 1-up today and had enough for that mars bar, can of juice or bag of crisps on the way home.
  22. Oh you do, do you? Tickets have been onsale on seetickets for over 2 months...
