Yes as a matter of fact i think its very very very wrong that people are in our country claiming benifits and not working...when we are paying for it... Stealing our jobs...when did i ever say that? Polish people are actually doing the jobs that people here dont want too. A freind of mine who is in the fish industry has employed mainly Polish workers now...based on the fact that these people are queing up to get into work in the morning....unlike the locals who he struggles to get out their bed...this is not somethin i mentioned at all...so BOING back you absolute clown... When you say 'none of my boys and girls' (that makes you sound a bit silly actually) are Polish...does that not mean they would have to be a criminal before they come and see a 'Criminal Justice' worker...when did i ever mention criminals... My Polish work friend has just read this whole post an is almost pissing herself laughin...even she says its a issue the amount of poles not workin...its givin the good hard working ones a bad name... P.S The polish lass that serves up our lunch in the canteen just announced she is pregnant the day...she has been here 4 months working part time...how convenient...she also told me her sister aint going back to work after having her baby as she does better on benifets... Sorry folks but you wont manage to change my mind on this one... 8-)

Mug for paying that kinda money? Thats how much it costs... Once again u have opened that trap of yours without reading...i was 'whinging' about management saying that these local gigs were not profitable... Yeah you got me though...once again...a professional venue that sends out the contract 2 days before gig an then pays out more than a month after the gig when it states in the 'PrOfEsSiOnAl' contract i would be paid in 14 days... 8-)

Here is a run down of what i paid for my night at Lemon Tree...with 'local' nights like this i feel that the statement in the paper was a bit of a dissapointment... 1000 for hire = VAT 1175 Just before the gig i found out that this price did not include the lightin technician OR the drum kit...SHOCKING!!! I had been led to belive that the Lemon Tree would supply some crates of beers for the guys upstairs but i ended up doing that too... I got a settlement cheque through last week actually (i was meant to get it within 14 days) for 44...thats how much i made...bearing in mind the bands didnt get paid either... The Lemon Tree made all of the above plus however much was made from the 300 people drinking at the bar AND they added 2.50 onto the ticket prices at the door so people were paying 7.50 instead of a fiver... I said to them please take the price down to a fiver but still take your 2.50 but nope... Peacock Visual Arts does do music... It HAS to reopen under private ownership... Austin i also have a fiver! 8-)

Thats exactly what it was lackin i think...i just read the paper...they say the high profile gigs were profitable an the local gigs were a loss... They definatly didnt make a loss on my night...we got ripped off big time... Deffo has to reopen under new management...would the council sell it? Lets chip in...PLAN! Gemz

But people from other countires coming over and not working is even worse and your quite happy with? Is that what ur saying... Merkin Music put on a night there in October... 1250 it cost me to hire the place...then they had the cheek to hike 2.50 onto each ticket at the door which they kept to themselves... Just thought that was a bit of a piss take an i wasnt plannin on using the place again... Excellent venue though which is a right shame... 8-)

Thanks Dave for being so nice about it an as you are aware from our email conversation i have done everythin possible to change his mind. You guys doing nights makes it 10 times easier for me!!! Who knows...maybe in the future he will change his mind... Gemz

Can we just get this clear...Celler 35 is not my venue! I took an interest in it as it helps my cause...which is getting Aberdeen bands gigs across Scotland...i can offer gig swaps for out of town bands... I took on full responsibilty of booking the bands for the place...which i have done a not bad job wiht the place being booked up till March... Im completely unsure of the hardcore/punk scene so thought it would be a good idea to get promoters to host nights to make sure the best bands were playing...saturday was a tester to see what like... Its not when the person body surfing breaks their neck thats bad...its when they break someone elses it becomes a problem... The smell of money brings the worse out of people... 8-)

The diary is booked up till March with about 3 nights that promoters are doing so its not going to affect Celler 35 that much... Im not saying that anythin was intentional...i know these things happen... I wasnt even there on Saturday...it was a chance for Dave to see if he wanted to continue doing hardcore nights...an unfortunatly its not the road he wants to go down... He was on edge constantly...which you would be too yeah? In all honesty i think its the crowd surfing thats done it...not the lamp or the glasses...if someone breaks there back who gets the blame? 8-)

Yeah these things do happen in all bars but when people are crowd surfing in Celler 35...probably the smallest venue known to mankind...of course things are gonna get broken... From Wikipedia In 2000, at the Roskilde Festival festival, nine people died and several were wounded because they were trampled during a Pearl Jam concert (also see CNN). Since then, crowd surfing has been made illegal at most festivals and concerts in Europe, and patrons can, in theory, be ejected from the venue for partaking in the act. However as people rarely get thrown out for crowd surfing, it seems that the ban exists simply because companies running the festivals want legal protection from potential injury claims against them stemming from moshing or crowd surfing at these events. The only other option i suggested was a deposit an if somethin got damaged it wouldnt be returned but i think Dave just dont want to have to deal with fixing things after a gig...which is fair enough... 8-)

Im not speaking about the country...i have already said that...i live in Aberdeen an i am speaking about Aberdeen... Yes but every new development that goes up, 10% has to go to affordable housing...so actually the houses going up is helping...not much...but it is... 8-)
