agreed, never used to notice it too much but he cant at all, but how much does your singing voice contribute to your bands quality? of course its alot better if your lead singer can sing

i really liked girl said no when i saw them at the lt, as for the show, its ok sayin the set wasnt alternative enough but on the other hand, if this show is going to stay on for a while they have to first get enough listeners every week and i would guess northsound would have been demanding a few 'big' or popular hits in there on the first week to get people listening, i could see the show play alot more alternative music if it manages to be successful over the next few weeks. i agree on the point aswell that all people do on these threads is slag off bands, its ok having a debate but i think we should put some support towards bands who are doing well in aberdeen

i used to feel quite sorry for doherty when the tabloids exploited him but it just seams like he wants to kill everyone who has said something bad about him, he n borrell used to be good friends, well they used to live together anyway. U would think by now that he would be used to people talking badly about him, as for babyshambles, their demos are really good but the finished version of fuck forever was worse than the demo, whether they will ever release their album is doubtful, it probs wont sound what they were wanting it to sound like anyway coz alot of their songs will get rushed if they do release it

Exclusive - Johnny Borrell and Pete Doherty scrap in Leeds Pete earlier in the weekend JOHNNY BORRELL and PETE DOHERTY have been involved in a backstage bust-up at the CARLING WEEKEND: LEEDS FESTIVAL, NME.COM can reveal. Both bands played on the final night of the event yesterday (August 28) at Bramham Park in Leeds, with Razorlight on the main stage and Babyshambles appearing on the nearby NME / Radio 1 Stage. Witnesses claim that shortly before midnight Doherty went to Razorlights dressing room, and headbutted the Razorlight singer. As things got worse, security broke up the fight. A festival source told NME.COM: Weve been told that Pete Doherty did in fact have a disagreement with Razorlight. Rumour is that Doherty walked into the bands dressing room last night after both bands had played and in an unprovoked attack headbutted Johnny Borrell. Johnny put Doherty on the floor and left the dressing room, at which point festival security escorted Doherty from the dressing room and back to his bus." A spokesperson for Doherty was unavailable for comment, however, a spokesperson for the festival confirmed that an incident had taken place, but declined to comment further. After the incident Razorlight travelled to Scotland, where they play this evening (August 29) at Edinburgh T On The Fringe at the Corn Exchange.

So who went? What did you think? Enjoy the little kicks acoustic set? I for one thought it was a great night and an absolute bargain for 5, alot more relevant gig than the presidents of the USA me thinks. Maybe thats just me

i thought they were really cool at t in the park, even tho the sound wasnt that great, as for the album, it took me a couple of listens to get into it but i really like it now, people should buy the album just for its title, quality

The rakes have announced their tour for september and october and they are playing on the 3rd and the 4th of october, guess there not gonna play the tunnels then???
