Was having a discussion about this with some freinds last nite. Is their potential for a small venue to open up where people who arent realy into dancing and getting fucked but rahter wanna sit back and listen to some good tunes. Good tunes being music that the likes of exodus/moshulu/ dont get the chance to air.

I tell you what that was an amzing gig. I was thinking, why the hell have i paid 12 pounds for this? Then dresden came on and showed me why. I couldnt get my head around lapsus, were they taking the piss? Fair enuf the sound was crap but christ i couldnt hear mysel think . Seriously though, the girls piano parts and voice were unbelievable.

sorry about the goblet ciaran. Although i didnt actually break it was my responsibilty as i was drinking out of it. Also chris im sorry for wakening u up with my frisbee. Highlight for me was climbing on top of mikes car and havin a moments queit reflection on my own at 5.30 am after most of the folk had retired.

stroszek played the tunnels the other evening and it was a huge improvement from the moorings gig. Richie grew in confidence as the night went on. Les's guitar parts are pretty unique in Aberdeen, very catchy. New bassist is also really good and reads les well. Great to see a band like this coming out of Aberdeen at this point in time, hopefully theyll be succesful elsewhere. EDITTED

i did mine may/june and got it back in 3 weeks, ive been telling my mates to fill it out but they havent got round to it either so dinna worry. Just fill in it soon like.

hi there. Our band have been on the hold for a while due to lack of funds but we are hoping to get up and running again with the start of the uni session. Im looking for singers (male or female) to fill a backing role as well as share main vocal duties. We are strongly bass driven , emphasis is on rythmn section. The drums add another layer to the music with offbeats and alternating rythms that give the songs huge depth. The bass is driving (qotsa,mclusky). Guitar is far from minimal as both bass and guitar feed well from each other but the bass and drums do well to push things forward. It not all fast paced though . Kinds of music ive been listening to lately includes nada surf, eska, lush, bettie serveert, belly, james orr complex, miss black america, new order, interpol, the raveonettes, macrocosmica, velvet underground, paper cut out, traditional scottish muisc, miles davis, nirvana(60's band), lots of psychadelic 60's bands, my bloody valentine, flamin lips, Pj harvey, arab strap, reindeer section, sonic youth, cure, tom waits, the banshees, echo and the bunnymen, sugar,mercury rev, red house painters, televsion, mogwai,love, gatechien, mcclusky, acoustic music, cannonball adderley, jazz...to be honest im crap with sayin wot we sound like, best thing to do would be to come jam and see for yersel. Their will be a competition taking place in appreciation to the many hairstyles that adam flaunts. The rules are simple, draw on an a4 sheet of paper a hairstyle in which adam shall have to wear . The winner will win a date with adam as well as seeing him wear the hair for two weeks.
