This is mine, i have had many people say it is shit and have had many people say they love it and had the usual fools come out with the ''oh man that will look shit when your 70''. The sad fact is my whole body will look shit when im 70. Personally i love it and dont regret it at all, if anything i have grown to like it more since i first got it. What some people regard as ''shit'' might be amazing to another. I hope to get the rest of my back done soon.

The expendible penguins of war are fuckin ace. Amazing bass player. T.R.I.B.E are awsome as well.

I would say tech yourself. It will make you a better player in the long run. I am completely self-taught and i am glad i didnt take no lessons. As far as getting a bass, got to your local guitat shop and have a look, just dont spend a fortune on a amazing bass coz you wouldn't get the good out of it.
