  1. right, quick question, is anyone else finding their hotmail service to be shit? i cant look at any emails i have in my inbox, everytime explorer opens hotmail it returns to this default homepage - which, despite all efforts, remains my homepage. any help or feedback would be good, thanks all peace
  2. this is such a spontaneous post but i feel it's a calling...(kinda) i'm listening to are you in by incubus and decided i love it. i've been drumming with bands for years but only really played metal, so wanna try somethin a little easier on the ears. incubus has been my muse for a while now so jst wonderin if anyone wants to get a mellow band goin? i guess eventually could play some nice mellow gigs. looking for a jazz/blues/ easy going sound...very much like are you in. other stuff like the jimi hendrix experience or some clapton or somethin. hard to describe what i want. but if you like that sorta direction, send us a pm or jst reply here.
  3. i just wana take this very expensive oppeertunity in a coffee shop in amsterdam to say i love i here!!! the most surreal experience ever, asking over a counter for a space-milkshake. me and a mate john have jst been tryin every and any weed we fnd!! started the trip with some northern lights and jack herer, and i guess it went from there. this city is phenomenal. everyone should come here, smokers or no, the atmosphere (ad smell ) is somethin else. even the red light district is worth a visit, it's jus too funny to pass up the holiday ends tomorrow so i'm off o get fucked. take it easy everone ?uestlove

    Drummer Needed!!

rhythmist ...i'm listening 18(if you give me 2 weeks...) male, very passionate about drums and music. what stuff you got planned?
  5. some rhythm hey name's chris been speakin to the bassist andy for a while now, gettin a hip-hop style thing goin in the next yr. he said you were look for a drummer too, and i'm jst droppin a line to say i'm still totally interested. dowloadin the mp3's now, cant wait to hear it. only problems bein i'm a little young and i live outa town just now. and i dont think i'm sticking around up year come september. 18 in a month or so, been playin for long enough to be able to keep a good groove down. let me know if you wanna get a jam goin after the festivities are through. take it easy bro, chris
  6. research continues i actually skipped work to find out what i could, and so far i can't see anythin about other band members, just darrel...fuck guys this blows. nothing but pantera till 2005 for me
  7. Dimebag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can't believe dimebnag darrell got wasted at a damage plan gig in ohio. what the fuck is the world coming to. May the greatest metaller the world has ever seen rest in heavy metal peace. i'm gonna listen to pantera till the end of this year as a personal tribute to the great man. http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1494653/20041209/damageplan.jhtml?headlines=true if you're interested.
  8. did no-one go and see them?! saturday 20th, Kef, early start but well worth it!!! so so inspirational, who would ever have thought ''walk this way'' could sound so cool on a banjo, madolin, bass, violin and acoustic guitar?! you all missed out. or is it not cool to enjoy funny country music?
  9. thats all well and good sure, some people like that. but there's so much of that style about, i'm askin whether it's gonna start appearing everywhere, and overshadow other styles. but it's true i read somewhere on this thread that it's about respecting bands, not necessarily agreein with their taste in music. i guess thats true, and as far as respect goes, you guys did stand up, play a solid set. just hopin we can keep this diversity of music we have jst now.
  10. ha man i'm hurtin. if you cant take a bit of critisism you're never gonna make it. i said nothing about your actual talent. i'm a drummer too, and you sounded like a good solid drummer. i was saying that i dont like the style of stuff you guys play. i didnt expect to hear that at the moorings, aways assumed the music blastin out would be my sorta stuff. chill out man, not everyone is gonna love you.
  11. dude... first off, i was glad to pay the 2 or whatever, you plainly said ''it's cool, only one band left'' whoever was on last really ruined my night. is this the future of music?
  12. !!!!!!!WARNING!!!!!!!!!!! RED BANDS ARE INVADING you may not believe me, but you'll see all over the city, flat, red elastic bands have been scouting the area, possibly gathering information before the full on invasion can begin. secret stoner spots, street corners, skate spots, outside shops, EVERYWHERE if anyone else has experienced this phenomonon please let me know...so...i can prepare myself for the apocalypse.
  13. rockin hundred reasons were, as always, awesome. me and mate chris have seen them every time they've been to scotland. loved every minute of their set... downside being the support being shit. the first dud ewas cool, but it's not for everyone. i like the sound of an acoustic one-man band. two fold were terrible and reuben jst made me sit at the back. their stuff sounded so similar and jst lacked originality from the rest of the emo scene. (the last two songs of their set stood out tho, so big up those ones!)
  14. cool yeh be good to hear the style and see what i've got to live up to drummer-wise. when you wanting to meet up?
  15. weapon, idiot scholeo from MMW or Ryan from useful idiot.
  16. i'm up for it too hey, i'm up for it. altho i live outside of town so we'd have to jam in a rehearsal rom or somethin. 17, male, plays anyuthing. listening to pantera at this exact moment
  17. nipples....nipples on men....whats the deal?
  18. pimp my drums hey i'm up for it...i've answered EVERY drummer wanted ad so far. i'm 17, drummin for about 4 yrs. been told i'm pretty good. let me know about jammin and stuff. i live out of town jst now so it would have to be a cap'n tom;s sesh or find a lock up somewhere. let me know what you think, peace out
  19. seein about a DJ i know a few folk that would rip up the decks, i'll see if they would be up for djin with us. i'll let you know how things go.
  20. no matter what you listen to, no matyter how much you love heavy metal, or hip-hop, or dance, or emo, whatever ,you HAVE to see this band on the 20th, i think they're coming back to kef. they are truly immense, best live band EVER. hope to see you all seshin out to some hill billy AC/DC covers! peace out, ?uestlove
  21. whoa whoa whoa.... uh man, i'm pretty open minded about music, but i really can't understand why folk dont like dream theatre, it's got everything, awesome vocals, awesome lyrics, awesome drums, rad guitar, bass which actually does something, best keyboard player ever. it's got heavy, it;s got mellow, it's got simple, it's got tech. (i love it) orry for the rant, touched a nerve! heh
