Dear Science, is fantastic. I really wasn't sure if they could match Return to Cookie Mountain but after a few listens I think they might have even bettered it.

Gets better with each listen, its a better overall album than RTCM. The 2nd half of RTCM was weak imo. Altho so far Dear Science doesn't have anything as dirty as Wolf Like Me or sexy as Province.

Aberdeen in their UK tour? Do we have anything similar to the ABC?

How many seasons can they squeeze out this story?

really? not so sure about that. maybe a few years ago when their debut came out.

I think they probably would, im not sure if Foals is sold out but i'd imagine they'd have a bigger following than them in Aberdeen.

Maybe. I just think that there are loads of people out there (myself included) who would love to have been blessed with the talent to be a professional footballer. You would think that, in those circumstances, they would be able to stay away from booze/fags/fast-food for the short duration of their playing career in order to make the most of the talent they've been given (they can always let themselves go a la Alan Brazil/Bobby Williamson/Jimmy Calderwood after they retire).

And yet I saw Lee Miller in MacDonalds and just about every week you can see Dons players out on the piss in town.

What a load of rubbish. Ask any sports nutritionist or similar and they'll tell you its fine to have one unhealthy day a week, its shocks the body and stops it becoming immune to the training they put in the rest of the week.

Do bars generally do happy hours any more? I was thinking about this the other day, you hardly ever see as much 2 for 1, 1.50 per drink etc advertisements compared to 5 years ago where they used to be everywhere. If i remember right they were thinking of banning advertising these sort of deals but did that ever happen?

At the end of the day im sure Lee Miller is happy doing the job that is required of him in a more successful team. He's adapted very well to the step up in class i would say.

They're non-offensive but annoyingly bland, one trick pony imo, You wouldn't complain if someone stuck an album of theirs on but wouldn't ask for them specifically. I really liked Because of the Times on the first listen but was sick of it by the 3rd spin and everyone knows the best albums are the ones you grow to love.
