-
Just seem them at OneUp, was impressed, looking forward to tonight
-
Anyone know for sure what time there at One Up?
-
I will catch Radio Lucifier one day!! You need to keep your drummer more informed, i read on here before he knew that you guys were supporting The Damned!
-
aereogramme were fantastic tonight. the new material sounds great - the last song was superb!
maxi' date=' craig b came over and spoke to me at the bar after the gig and said gofones are his 'favourite scottish band that no one has heard' and he thanked me for coming. i just replied 'yeah ok' as i don't like being approached at gigs and we actually have a fairly good following down in glasgow. i don't really care if he thinks i was rude or not though.
wasn't keen on either of the other bands.
some of the people working in moshulu have like big issues man. also i'm not sure why they wouldn't accept my old student card as ID tonight when they accepted it last night. check them out with their different clothes, think they're cool. maybe it's because i don't dress like my favourite chart bands. someone should teach them some manners, you should say please and thank you, when handling money, unless you play in an established band with a good following in glasgow. prick. some of them like to think they work in the cathouse. i should really be on the telephone first thing towmorrow morning to make a formal complaint.[/quote']
Superstar!!
Who the fuck are guts on fire of north east scotland.

Biffy were alright, i thought they were better the first time they played the forum, still it was a good drunken night and some cute girl eventually got so annoyed with me clapping my side after each song she started to hold my pint for me!

18th December - Franz Ferdinand - SECC

*sighs*
i only wanted to know what the music scene is like up in Aberdeen....I wasn't expecting a huge bitchfest. I'll know where to come if I want to spend all my time being closed minded about other people's opinions about music n slag them off. Can't people just agree to disagree? to be terribly cliche
Yes' date=' I admit there are a lot of bands I dont like. But at the same time there will be bands that I like that other people hate. It's to be expected. Instead people take everything personally, they get to emotionally involved in the debate and cant detach themselves. Can't you just accept that you're opinions of music differ? In things like this there are no 'right' or 'wrong' answers. Anyone who states 'you're either with us or against us' immediately gets 'well Im against you' from me. They forget the grey area and are so closeminded that I simply don't want to be one of them. It goes on principle. Why not just let the matter drop. Cos this arguement is getting old and has NOTHING to do with the original posting. I suggest that if you want to continue this slagoff fest that you do it elsewhere on another post.[/quote']
kitteh will be the one walking about Aberdeen in a full dominatrix outfit looking for someone to fill her gimp mask

Pretty crazy considering TCTC have two killer albums and Babyshambles have one killer release to their name?
Crazy considering Babyshambles are nothing more than a puppet show.
-
Think i'll purchase that and Football Manager 2005 at the start of November!
I'll get a months use out them before i become bored as usual!
-
Shameless plug!!
-
I WAS THERE!!! I got a rather groovy 'tctc' tshirt there also' date=' the coopers are great, QMU is great, glasgow is great, so great i'm going back on monday for more of the same!! (albeit not team cooper)
by the way, cooper temple clause SUPPORTED headline act, Babyshambles, how shocking is that [/quote']
eh? They supported Babyshambles where?
Rumours of the coops playing three UK dates in November, i'll be down if one of them is Glasgow, if not then got Interpol in December.
-
not into them at all but the Dirt's a good read.
-
with seeing them four times' date=' three times in the deen and once in glasgow, i'd disagree !
a great band full of musicial genious throughout, each not just limited to one or two instruments as demonstrated all the time, TEAM COOPER![/quote']
Hell yeah, i've seen them three times now, the best being at the QMU, greatest band in the world.
Biffy should be good though, got the Tuesday off to which is a bonus.

The only Scotland date Pink Grease played this tour was Aberdeen.
-
What time did Sugarcult come onstage? Is this likely to be the same time as Biffy?
-
Has Biffy Clyro sold out yet, and how much are tickets?
-
Is it usually that price to get in Moshulu on a Saturday night?
-
Superb on Saturday night at Moshulu, how rock n roll should be played!

Yeah, shit venue but least they have the decency to include Aberdeen in their tours unlike most bands these days.
Whats the capacity of The Music Hall?
