Me and a mates been arguing over what a shitzu is??
-
The Liquid Rooms website is saying its sold out.
Pity cos it'll probably be the best gig this year
-
Selfish bastards, I hate bands that continually do 6 or 7 date tours to the same cities.
-
Not heard any of her stuff, i'll try and download that EP the night
-
Anyone going down this weekend to see either?
I can't wait, first time i'll get to see both!
Sea Power should be awesome in the Liquid Rooms
-
Yeah keep 'Something to live for', that was one of the better tracks i downloaded from Aberdeen bands.
-
Ogg Lucifer is Stuart Cable right now
-
So was Starfalls UK tour successful??
-
Everyone thats into QOTSA and Kyuss should try Hermano's new album "Dare I Say", its a winner!
-
that's nowhere near balmedie
Go to the jjb, its 36 a month for full membership which is better than the other private gyms in aberdeen! Plus you can get a program made up if your wanna tone up! Try eating less carbs and more protein, protein shakes if your going to stick at it, but you need to watch that cos it might pile the pounds back on!!

What actually happened with you guys and the lead singer? Do you still talk to him?
-
HAH. THAT girl' date=' you spoke to me
and nope, he didn't, he bought it, and i balanced it on my head. twice. and then got in trouble from a bouncer "Could you NOT do that in future".
Pfft. rude.[/quote']
Haha! That was probably my fault for randomly stopping you and demanding you balance a pint on your head!
Sorry!
-
Yeah just seen it there, cheers for that!
-
I enjoyed both bands but there was something missing that make me run out and buy their music. Piney would have been better with her band. Good turn out though.
-
Have you got a list of all the nominees and catagories you can stick up please?
-
British Sea Power 9th April (Edinburgh)
-
Has it sold out??? F*ck i only bought a ticket for myself thinking my mate would get next Friday
-
I agree with Touching from a Distance, The Dirt (Motley Crue) is an entertaining read, Scars of Paradise (Janis Joplin) and Scar Tissue is worth reading.
-
I think the first 8 songs on their new album are awesome, gets a bit samey after that though!
Still much better than i expected it to be!
-
Im going to this, disappointed The Magic Numbers aren't supporting
Hal, are sh*te, think The Thrills but ten times worse

Is there any mp3's of Dedalus or AKA the Fox on the interweb?
-
Aberdeen has a great potential but bands don`t raise their game and strive for things. I`m not doubting people's ambition......merely the commitment.....
Maybe what Jimmy Calderwood said last week doesn't just apply to football!
-
Also....
Sugarcult....... Now correct me if i`m wrong but they are "fairly" middle of the road punk rock/pop punk/punk. AND 2 weeks after Aberdeen they were supporting Green Day....who.... of course....are the biggest band in the world at the momment.
The Figures:
Sales 351
Free Entry 11
Total Number in 362
Total Profit & Loss = -1380.90
Basically Aberdeen is a small fishing villiage that got lucky. In theory if you want to see diverse out kind of obscure stuff move to Glasgow.
Else just live in hope that one day someone will take a risk on something that isn`t the norm.
Sorry if this seems nosey but if your making such large losses holding gigs what is the point in doing it? Will the company not eventually go bust by doing this? I think its great what you've done at Moshulu, i notice Pink Grease are touring again Although saying that its probably not worth getting them back after the turn out last time!!
Someone solve an arguement for me
