  1. Just a suggestion...........Would it be possible for you guys to post some tabs of Black Atom songs on here, or on another guitar site? Judging by the response the album has had so far, I think there'd definitely be a demand for it, especially for us who are too fucking lazy and/or untalented to work them out ourselves! By the way, I was talking about guitar tabs, but I'm sure there are plenty of bassists and drummers who might use them too. If anything, it would bring some hits to the Atom site?

  2. I heard about a Japanese guitarist who is apparently very good and sells millions of records in his home country, but isn't very well known here. However, the dude who told me this couldn't recall his name. Can anyone help? I'd like to know his name, what kind of music he plays and if there's anything in particular that would be a good start to download. I know it's really vague, but it's worth a try I suppose.

  3. Well, I was going to buy the CD, but by that time I didn't have enough cash and judging by the One Up gig today (my first Atom gig), I'll probably buy it pretty soon, most likely tommorow. *makes little Dio symbol with fingers* Just a shame you didn't play more songs though.....can't make it tonight- fuck. Good time to all those who are though.

  4. * finds link to disprove point * :p

Is that their best of you speak er.... of? Don't have the album' date=' so I'll take your word for it [/quote']

Indeed it is. There's also an American version that has a slightly different track listing and it has some big long name that has parts of all the previous album names in it. The great Southern Vulgar Steel Driven Cowboys, or something to that effect (that's definitely not what it's called). It also has a DVD with all the Pantera videos through each album on it, which is pretty cool.

  5. It 's actually quite well known. I thought it was only 2 like. Ah well' date=' learn something new everyday.[/quote']

Look in the liner notes for Reinventing Hell if you have it. They were all mega small time independent releases so I'd imagine it to be pretty impossible to find a copy. I'm sure someone will post a link to prove me wrong now............

  6. dave mustaine quit metallica because james hetfield kicked his dog.....

ozzy osbournes name was spelt "ossy" in the liner notes of black sabbaths self titled album......and on the later Master of Reality' date=' it was spelt Osborne....

    [/quote']

Wrong. Dave kicked James' dog and got thrown out rather than quitting- also because he was a violent drunk etc.

On the subject of names, I noticed that in the liner notes for Cowboys From Hell, Dimebag is referred to as 'Diamond Darrell', oh and like no one knows this, but Pantera released 4 albums as a glam rock band before Phil Anselmo joined and they did CFH.

  7. higher Physics fucking is hard! I think it's our teacher, his methods are really dry, whereas we had fun in Standard Grade 'cause we didn't have him, although he is funny, just doesn't teach us very well. Bastards. Yeah, English seems to be the biggest step up from the subjects I've chosen.

  8. Thats very constructive or dont you have the brain power to argue my points without resorting to abuse? I think that proves your iq level

Why thank you. However, I think that making our thoughts known to everyone else forms the basis of these forums, and I simply made my feelings known judging by your comments on this thread. If it wasn't particularly constructive I apologise, but I don't feel I'd be covering anything that hasn't already been mentioned. Likewise it's perfectly acceptable for you to comment on my IQ level, which I wouldn't consider a credible way to judge anyone's quality of discussion, but that's democracy, so live with it.

  9. ....*cringes*

I'm just waiting for my Standard Grade ones, which I think went wellish, but not immaculately, dread to think what it'll be like next year. Physics is the most difficult Higher (in all 3 weeks of it) so far. Ah well, have to make an effort I suppose.

  10. I've heard Die Dead Enough and the promo on the site for Blackmail the Universe. Wouldn't say it matches to any of the classic stuff (although I really like Youthanasia a lot too), but it has some heavy riffs etc. and I'll definitely buy it when it's released, even if I have downloaded it all by that time. On the subject of Megadeth, has anyone heard any of Marty Friedman's Cacophony work? I would definitely recommend it, although the vocals are a bit.........meh.

  11. I would like a soundproof booth to try out equipment, 'cause in R and B, I always feel really intimidated when I try something and sound shit then some dude next to me picks up a guitar and plays a Malmsteen song or something. I know I shouldn't be because it's not supposed to be about showing off etc. but I think more people would be inclined so try equipment if they could do it in privacy, like in Millers'.
