I love post-hardcore and metalcore because they are of more substance than most other genres. There is variety, melody and aggression. They are also fashionable, which always has a large bearing on my decisions.

What is the need Hog? You actually made some sensible comments in the other pope thread, albeit along with some stupid ones, but now this has just completely ruined that. I really wish you wouldn't make these attempts at humour.

I think I should probably point out that I'm not launching a childish attack on the pope as has been said, but am merely stating that I disagree with many of his policies and those of the Catholic Church as a whole. However, I can't but agree that he has in fact done some great things in his time; standing up to totalitarianism and suchlike. Not trying to destroy anyone else's beliefs, not launching personal attacks, just stating my opinion. Although, it really does make me sick that religious people can lay into atheists, agnostics and even other faiths, but as soon as I make a criticism of somebody's faith, without so much as telling them they will be punished for all eternity as I am regularly informed will happen to me, then it is completely unacceptable. Bollocks if you ask me. Which I'm sure you don't.

This is true. Much of what the Catholic Church preaches equates to severe bigotry at times. Any organisation that tells people in AIDS ravaged countries not to use condoms, decries gays and does not allow female priests needs to get a fucking grip in my opinion. Things have changed a little since the stone age, and I feel that it might just be time for major religions to start changing with them.

If any other company said, "Position vacamt, only Catholic's nedd apply," there would be outcry! I demand a full investigation!
