yer i see what ya mean. thats always something ya have to be careful of in studios because it would be so easy just to say nah cant be bothered doing that take again lets just do it on the computer.

yer if ya cant play it dont fake it really. because everyone knows when ya play live. unless ya mime of course...

not sure to be honest just something about it doest seem right....but i cant really explain it.

this is fair enough everyone likes what the like ya know. its just that i dont like it and i wouldnt like to create it. in saying that i still like keyboards.

but what you are saying there is different. yes working together with a "normal" (for arguments sake) recording and computer technolgy is ok...what im merly saying is i dont like the WHOLE song being don ENTIRELY on computers. its not something im comfortable with. its ok in moderation basically.

well if u mean creating music on a computer then to me that just dosent seem rite at all. music is about feeling what u thinks rite in my opinion. and since doing it on a computer means theres no real feeling there at all its all a bunch of 1's and 0's then its a bit shit really i still think the best way to write music is to get a few musicians together in a room and just play. each to their own and everything its not my thing at all...and to you what i do isnt your thing (from what i gather)

i have that album i think its amazing. i always kinda thought rose of sharyn was kinda emoish the way the lyrics are...didnt seem straight up metal to me anyways

ive heard and hate both dillenger and converge Rab (who ya may have seen post around here) likes em and nah i couldnt get into em...i thought i heard a converge track i liked but upon listening to the album at his again it appears i didnt lol.

well im looking to expand my tastes so more or less anything is welcome. and i'll give it a try but the stuff im listening to now is stuf like Taking Back Sunday, Killswitch Enage , Atreyu(once i get the albums just now only got the one video track but its all good), MMw, Avenged Sevenfold but i also listen to stuff like Guns N Roses, Sex Pistols, Backyard Babies but im definitly more into the bands i listed first...at least i seem to be growing that way anyways

what bands would you recommend i check out then? (this was directed at jim but ben feel free to mention some as well)

BSF would be damn good. think i may attend this gig though.

yer i would have listened to "suicide notes" first anyway since it was released first but i'll put in on for a couple days then stick on the curse and see which one i prefer.
