thats becuase hte majority of their suport would need to get back indoors for the curfew time of 5pm or catch flights back to ireland or generally travel back home the 200 or so miles.

get up>breakfast>car frozen cant get in>girfriends car frozen cant get in>more breakfast>get into cars now>girfriends car wont start>jump starts doesnt work>try to dig out car and rolling start - nice gritter man helps dig her car out>cant push car in second gear for jump start so i drive behind her car pushing it all the way>nothing happens>jumpleads back on for 5 minutes>car starts!!>cheeseburger and chips from burger van>work.....

still cold.

i'm not like a brick wall it's just you're not proving your point. it's an entirely different scenario. nigga is a modern slang word derived from the derogatory word nigger and as such it still has racist overtones. it's not part of modern language at all but merely part of a particular culture's language. the teacher in that clip was naive to think he could use it without causing offence.

You fail to see that the kid used it in front of him, so why couldn't he use it back. Maybe it's not 'ok' to go into the street and start calling everyone 'my niggah' but by using it in teh office the kid obviously was ok with it.
