I look forward to hearing the new album live as the tracks (Love of Richard Nixon, Empty Souls, Glasnost and Solitude Sometimes Is) are all pretty good, with the exception of the last on there, and at least they're being bold and seemingly doing something different on Life Blood unlike Know Your Enemy which just tried to rehash past glories (although I wouldn't consider Generation Terrorists a glory,fuckin GNR rubbish it is). The Holy Bible for 30 year olds according to Nicky Wire. At least they'll always be interesting and obviously they'll do some classics too (they better not do Faster bloody acoustic again!!) and they are formidable live.

Yes they are the lead singer said so in an interview but also said that she is the only Smiths fan in the band.

Anyone like them at all? The New Romance is an awesome album and is criminally overlooked. They're also named after a good song. Haven't heard their debut. Anyone know if it's worth getting?

I must say that Jonny Cash's cover of Hurt is awesome as is his cover version of Personal Jesus and as is Marilyn Manson's cover of that, although it is a tad predictable sounding. My other favourites are probably Manics cover of Train In Vain and Pumpkins cover of Boys Don't Cry as well as William Shatner's cover of Common People.

I don't think so, my friends came up with that "daft little fruitbat face" remark and and a Celtic face (being that of a Scottish or Irish person ie someone of Celtic extraction) is the same as an Irish face which I don't mind (I've plenty of Irish blood in my veins). But the fact that you consider looking Irish an insult makes you seem a bit racist. And you were the one who turned this from a discussion about the smoking ban into personal insults so don't tell me i can't say things cos i don't KNOW you and that you're getting bored of it.

No no, i don't get annoyed by being called camp. The legend that is Morrissey is rather camp (and a bit Irish as well). But I don't look anymore Irish than I do Scottish. You could say I have Celtic face. At least I ain't got strawberry-blonde hair. It's just ginger minus the personality.

Sparta absolutely suck. They're just so workmanlike. Million Dead would probably be better.
