Ok, emo would take an age to explain here so if you really want to know what it is read "Nothing Feels Good: Punk Rock, Teenagers, and Emo" by Andy Greenwald.

Why does it matter what Emo is or if it will be around next year? The fact of the matter is that there are a lot of kids out there for which Emo gives an 'identity' it gives them a sense of belonging to a group. However, if i was to list the number of bands who would classify (be it grudgingly) themselves as Emo in this post it would go on for miles. Given this i doubt it is a 'fad' that will quickly go away. Also Emo fans are some of the most dedicated fans of any genre. Emo is a much-maligned, mocked, and misunderstood term that has existed for nearly two decades, but has flourished only recently. Anyway, each to their own much like the birth of Punk was mocked so shalll emo-kids. But who cares they've at least got something to believe in! As for the fashion thing, yes, emo is about clothes but its also about a belief. I'll stop now, i'm tired and rambling because of it!

How about bein told that the other person ' can't do this any more' because they have another boyfriend. And bein cool with that cos they say they need some time to think things over. And then you try and find out why she would do this to you, but all she says is she can't be bothered explaining herself to you! You can't slag the chilli's (ok you can its a free country, but it would be silly to) they've done more than 90% of the bands out there, so what if they sold out, whgo cares?!?! Look at all the bands/people who were supposedlyu radical but then sold out Johny rotten (preaches about freedom from the state & goes on to appear on reality tv and sings at Brit awards)/Rage Against the machine (First sing to Sony records, ok to sell more albums and spread the message but still goin against everything they believe in & then Zack leaves so the rest of them form Audioslave and sell they're sould to globalisation)/ Rancid/NOFX both take advantage of massive merchandising to take from the pockets of they're fans. BUT ALL OF THAT DOESN'T MATTER...because we still like the music and sometimes the messages that said music brings with it. Also, The Chilli's couldn't sell out a place like Slains Castle if its fans merely followed them 'for the sake of it'! Oh yes Capdown should definately play Aberdeen it wouls be fuckin awsome. In fact why don't the council invest in a really good music venue, like Glasgow has(about ten of), and attract big bands to play it would be ace! I'm talkin noFX, Rancid, Dead Kennedy's etc. would rock and make my life so much better and my bank account happy!

I dunno, shake youre blood is a good song it'd be good to rock to i guess. But a lot of the songs are quite slow and borin, its damn good considerin Grohl wrote all the music and only sent the tapes out lookin for vocals. It just seems to me that Grohl seems to be at the forefront of the progression of music.
