  1. we were warned on our first outing in aberdeen that our lack of stage presence was a major problem. problem is now solved...rock & roll!!!.....
  2. i do that anyway in Noise Pollution.....bounce around like a mad cunt and do random things.....
  3. i do enjoy playing blink 182. some of Marks bass stuff is cool as hell.... sure it isnt exactly hard, but that doesnt make it unenjoyable to play! i know i dont look like it, but i love blink 182. and the offspring. and green day. first song i ever learned was Basket Case!
  4. no offence jimmy, but my bass cud disembowl someone so much more effectively than urs....
  5. ah right....we were selling our cd, i sold like 5 of them...i spoke to many a small person, including EE's singer dude with the awesome hair....hopefully we'll find out this week if we're doing GITG for definite, i think we are... apraxia might be too, having come second....theres been some kinda cock up with slots or something.....
  6. i found the incident with the pants funny first he threw them into the crowd, then they threw them back and he put them on. sad cunt.
  7. well, last i knew 50cent could sing/rap/make some kind of noise that people could bear to listen to. did i speak to u afterwards jimmy? was it u that bought a cd? or am i delusional....... and nobody asked us to play any Rage or any cover of any kind......we got the crowd into our own music no probs.....
  8. very true. i play a lot of GNR also. that levels it out. in terms being a bass player, blinks fun (easy but fun).
  9. well, all i know is i got phoned from one of the judges tellin me we won that audition. i know he was a judge, he was there, he got us the gig, and he was the general contact for it. and funk ship were fucking terrible.
  10. if i want to learn a song, i just listen and work it out myself. blink 182 is great to play on guitar. Offspring's better though!
  11. yeah i know it was....argh, i wish i could put my points across more clearly....damned brain! i was meaning every gig we had done BEFORE friday had like only 3 bands on, except the AUBL xmas thing, which was our first gig in aberdeen, and had like 9 bands on. that better? lol...
  12. and i aint bullshitting either. straight up. i thought emergency exit were better than us like, but well, aint up to us.
  13. very true. we aint use to this yet, sorry!! every gig we've done in aberdeen has had only 3 bands, its all been really chilled.....(except the AUBL xmas thing last year, when there was like 9 bands on) every gig iv been to in aberdeen has had only 3 bands on, whether it be Atom, Double Jack and Thin Lizzy, or a Drummonds battle of the bands.....id go for just the 3 bands per night on gigs like the AUBL etc puts on. we were lucky to have got the time we did, i never realised it was gonna run late (prob did because of us!)....first time we'd played there, first time i had ever been in there! we'll know better next time (if there is one!)!!
