  1. It would be pretty easy to swap the sockets over if the wires are long enough. Pete
  2. The scale length is 25.5 inches. However, in the video, when he mentions 25.75 inches, he's referring to where the mounting holes for his particular bridge need to be.
  3. I've got a pair of Fender Texas Special tele pickups I'd be willing to sell. Pete
  4. Hey sounds good to me mate, you interested in a part exchange with the joyo ultimate drive or a Marshall guvnor plus?

  5. I've got a Boss OD-3 in good condition. £40? Pete
  6. I used to get that - I sourced the problem to a 4-way extension cable that had no earth! If you are using one of them, check it and the kettle lead for earth connections. Pete
  7. I've sent you another private message about this.
  8. Good choice - I have the AC30CC-1, single speaker version of that head. I generally have it set up guitar>TS>amp. You can get some cool sounds out of it, ranging from really warm clean to some brutal crunchy goodness. The reverb is very nice, and the tremolo is quite good too, although I personally never had much use for. As you will find out eventually, the amp is foolishly loud! I put a Celestion Alnico Gold in mine - epic! Only problem is that the new speaker is considerably heavier than the original NeoDog. The combo is now stupidly heavy so it's probably a good thing you went for the head version. I can't even imagine having to carry one of the 2 speaker versions with the proper speakers fitted! Pete
  9. They're 4 conductor if I remember correctly. I'll check when I get home but if you don't hear otherwise, they are 4 conductor. Pete
  10. You can't go wrong with a Fender Mustang i. I've got one in my flat as big valve amps just aren't practical unless they are on stage or in the studio. The pre-programmed settings are pretty good, but you get software with it to go in and tinker about with it. Being a Fender, it offers a lot of the Fender amp sounds, but also covers the likes of Marshall, Vox and Mesa pretty well too. It can be used as a recording interface too - so if you don't have one of them already and could be doing with one, it's in there. They are really cheap for what they are - £90 or so from ii Music in the Academy shopping centre. Look on youtube for video demos - the vast majority of them are really good. As I said, you can't go wrong with the Mustang! Pete
