Prefer FT to Stars but was planning to move to Stars in mid-July, after clearing my Iron Man mid-year bonus. FT is a sinking ship and I can't forsee a turn of events that will have me play there again, even if the rumours are true and they re-open this week

Putting on those three bands in such a tiny venue would lose money, given the sheer cost of booking them and the limited capacity. Music Hall FTW!

There is no doubt that the organisers will be down a ton from this. Pretty much zero chance of anything like this ever being attempted in Aberdeen again. If this lineup, which was pretty remarkable for a start-up festival, couldnt shift tickets, then nothing will. Also, the price was not exactly prohibitive either. Just a big fucking shame, really.

I feel for Jamesy, Jim, Hen and Rachel. They put everything into making this a success. IMO the lineup was outstanding too.

Yes their license has been revoked. There is a hearing in a month. Until then, I have no way to access my money. After July 27, there is still no guarantee I will get it. I kept a light roll on there post-Black Friday, but I still have four figures tied up on there. Not nice, facing the prospect of just having to eat that loss. Stars, here I come.
