Absolutely devastated by this; unfortunately Adam cant even talk, much less sing. Still, Steven Milne + Band and Be Like Pablo is a cracking lineup regardless (and one that we hand-picked to complement the night, which makes this even more gutting!). We are still launching the single so please, everyone, let's make a helluva night of it!

Unfortunately Adam K. has acute laryngitis and has completely lost his voice, so on his doctors strict orders, The Deportees will sadly not be able to perform tonight. Their debut single, "I Lost Her To The Sea" will still be played over the P.A. throughout the night and available for purchase at our merch stand (with some of the band present to sign CDs). We still have a killer line-up including the most excellent Be Like Pablo &Steven Milne along with The Bedford Dj's all the way through until 3am so come join us (and the healthy members of The Deportees) as we have a lot to celebrate after months of hard work getting this single ready for release. We will be reducing the door price to 4 to reflect this change to the line-up and will be re-arranging a Deportees show in the very near future which will be FREE for anyone at the show tonight. Bought this cpu a few months ago specifically because my old one was prone to crashing and costing me money. This one has been flawless since the day I bought it. Until today. My flatmate is out and his cpu is password protected, or else I would have dived onto his.

Computer crash that put me out of action for over five minutes. Had twelve tables of $55 and $33 SitnGos on the go. Managed to salvage one table for a 2nd place, but had busted the others by the time I got back on. Over $450 in the fucking dustbin because my computer decided to be afucking cunt.

The Tunnels last night was a veritable who's who. Kirsten and David, Chilli, Graeme and Offramp, RFScott (all non-proper stalks). I think I saw Jan and Girl Anachronism if they are who I think they are...like 80% sure. Hunners more but I was pizzled and have now forgotten. Very awkward urinal moment in which Chilli and Graeme were at either ends of the urinal chatting away. There was a vacancy inbetween them, but I couldn't bring myself to piss with two guys talking across me. So I held it in, which sucked. It was a '4 cans of Red Stripe' type piss too; not one that could wait. Eventually they wrapped up and zipped up and I shared a silent urinal nod of recognition with Kieran. Blissful pissing. Cool storry, bro.

FWIW I agree with JakeB...if she has gooot bangers on display or nice trotters I will be more inclined to see her cup as half full. If she is uglyish and frumping it up to the max, then half empty obv.

Man U are reliant on pace, energy and quick breaks. Charlie Adam would slow everything right down imo. Can't see him fitting their style of play at all. He works hard, but he aint exactly mobile. Aberdeen have signed Youl Mawenne, who is regarded highly. Nicely done, Senor Brown. Shame it's just a one-yer deal though.

The drums are out of time in places, which is the real problem imo. However, it certainly doesnt spoil it or anything. Fine work, chaps!
