    we need a drummer

Aye they are pretty good, BUT, I make their drummer look like he is sleeping, as long as it does not cost me anything I will gae it a wee go, unless you get an offer from a younger, less sex drugs and rock and roll character, who fits the bill... beware I dinna dae things by halves, and am only offering as I am in the final stages of a 5 day binge and am royally wrecked to the tits, saying that, I am a man of my word and will gladly gae it a go, aye I micht be a bit auld, but I dinna tak ony prisoners fan it comes to hitting drums, if ye need a reference ask Mark fae EXILE studios, he seems tae ken his shit, cheers Biz.

Aye sticky carpet but light enough to see it I saw Black, Hambi and the dance, Skeletal family, Divine, Gil Scott Heron, Segue, The 30 footers, Misty in Roots,The Pixies, The Fall, amongst many others at The Venue. The promoter was Duncan Hendry who also put on gigs by Uncle Bobs radioactive Peanuts in various hotels and clubs -The Northern Hotel, some place on Union St, and The Station - whoo hoo The Meteors, and also Rockys doon by Pitoddrie - Positive Noise and Jonathan Richman, and heaps of stuff in The Music Hall - och aye the 1980s and 1990s were nae that bad.
  6. Nice 5 piece Pearl Export with hardware, great for gigging 350. I also have a very nice small Pearl practice kit with silent and loud heads and cymbal dampeners 300.

  9. I'm back I will be available for drum tuition at your place or a central studio in Aberdeen. I will be available for studio work and possibly gigs with bands as long as there is not too much fannying around rehearsing for months. OH and don't forget - I want paid a decent hourly wage for band or studio work, cheers Biz.
  10. see you in that tent with the African drums ? I will be performing on various wooden instruments and drums in a tent. I bumped into Flossie there . I might dance with your lovely singer at the bar if we can find a board to be robotic on. I will probably play a frying pan accompanying a bagpiper. Cheers Biz.

  15. ? Towers of London were the support act in The Music Hall a while back and are currently headlining their own tour. They were great in Aberdeen again but Tunnels seemed a bit too small for them, I got raving drunk and pogoed , it felt like I was involved in a riot at the end, with drinks flying and sweaty bodies everywhere, the closest I've gotten to having such a great time at a gig is playing with 16 again. Towers of London are the most exciting live band I've seen for years, I'd hardly say they " Dick on The Sex Pistols ", as Donnie so elequently put it after a shandy or two, but they at least hae a good spurt at them, cheers Biz.
  16. aye Barry Adamson is a god on Bass. I had loads of their records, the album PLAY is my favourte
  17. what do you think a fair price is? It is a great kit for someone who lives in a flat as it is so quiet. I will include a full set of new batter heads so you can make a rather nice din.
  18. It is new, never been played I want a fair price
  19. Change the heads and take off the cymbal covers and it is nice and noisy, make me a decent offer and it's yours Pearl Rhythm Traveler 5-Piece Practice Drum Kit from zZounds.com

The band played to an incredibly high standard, and the shapes thrown by Etty and Perry were amazing, the new album is ace tae.
  22. I just bought this DW kit The bottom skins are mesh, very like a TD 12. I'd like to modify them with some internal electronic stuff and trigger video and lights and the odd sample
  23. Yeah they are pretty neat I did a gig on one - it was very easy to play . I also teach on a TD 10 and use a TD6 at home, they are great fun.
