Most likely-one of his group probably looked underage so they ID'ed the whole group. If one of a group looks/is underage, chances are they wont be the only one, so to be on the safe side everyone gets checked.

if the licence says they don't permit under 18's then regardless of whether your buying a pint of lemonade or an absinthe, you must have id to back up your age, its not to do with what your buying but being on the premises in the first place. Big deal you got id'ed, you want avoid it, carry a recognised form of id, whether you use it or not, fuck i was stopped at the door more times when i was 22 than when i was under 18. You cant rely on the fact that you are 18+ when going into bars as when it comes down to it, if your age is questioned and you cant prove it to the guy/girl behind the bar, saying that your 20 holds about as much weight as saying your 102. Not having a go, i just dont see the promblem with carrying one of the free and highly recognised forms of ID.

like actually turned itself off? as in logged out and shut down? thats bizarre? unless you have a keyboard that has a 'shut down' key, something might of hit it or something? i always do that by accident when im in the middle of something, fucking sucks! That or windows might of downloaded updates and needed to restart, it sometimes does that itself. Incidentally mine's not powering down, just a cold hard cut, must be doing wonders for the motherboard...

Right, So since i installed my new hard drive and DVD-R my computer has been sporadically just turning off for what seems like no reason, its not regular, sometimes it'll happen say twice a day and then not happen for weeks/months. My immediate thought was that i may need a new power unit as perhaps the new hardware was just overloading my current one but it just seems too random to be that, its not like it goes when i use the writer, it normally just goes during general use. Also i guessed it may be the fan, but its not up against the wall, pretty well ventilated, and i've cleaned it a couple of times in my quest to get on top of this problem. thing is, to remedy the problem i was just replacing the fuse in the plug, then one day i accidentally put the same fuse (which i'd assumed had blown) in and it worked fine. so i worked backwards from that. When it goes it doesnt turn straight back on, when i unplug the PC and plug in again, it doesnt work, when i take the fuse cover off and put it back on, it doesnt work (that was a bit in vein i know), but when i take off the fuse cover and move the fuse round a bit (like you would with a set of almost dead batteries in a TV remote) it works fine. Anyone got any ideas? I was going to get a new video card sometime soon and i guess if it's the power unit i might as well get a new one before i overload my current one any further. Cheers Rass x

I have a game called Skifree somewhere that looks identical to that but with slightly better graphics, its ace, but this yeti always eats me if you go too far. No major surprises i voted Tomb Raider in the Poll, what a game, may even get the 7th installment before the next ice age! I totally meant to make a thread about this ages ago, i got it on monday, and after evetually finding it in the mass that was the Band rooms in moshulu from halloween, i dont think i've gone a day without listening to it. First and foremost-They are so fucking tight. Absolute precision from beggining to end, its hard to believe at points there are 9 musicians all completely at one on the record. I was worried when i heard all the songs were taken from different gigs, but i think it works better for them, less stapling the album to one city and point in time. I was also worried about coreys voice, i didnt think he could pull it live, especially after seeing the disasterpieces dvd, he gets so tired towards the end of the gig and just grunts his way through the last few songs. I guess because of the way this was recorded and put together you dont get any of that, so its quite cool. fucking ace live album, and maybe when my heads plugged in better i'll harp on about it a bit more. Definitly worth a buy for anyone with even a passing intrest in the 'knot tho.
