Yep... use a sharp heavy/hard pick.. i use those purple or green tortoise dunlop type ones u get in r&b etc! They definately do the job, its very difficult when u start playing artificial harmonics but once u get the idea it becomes easier with everytime u play one. Dan Man, whats this whammy bashing all about? can't be having that -0 not from a BA member! Tremolo = the shit, enough said... i like wanking down the tremolo from some natural harmonics on the 7th frets! Have to agree about floyd roses...pain in the ass to change strings/tune, etc! But when u are dive bombing all over the shop its pretty much essential!

PS. Mr/Mrs Drake, are we allowed to do a 35 min set instead of 30 ? One of my fellow members has informed me that we can? But the reliability of said member is suspect (hehe) so I thought i'd just confirm before we practice on saturday! Cheers!

Nope, we used to play the Wickerman but henceforth, forthwith it has been banished from the set! But yes, new songs (at least one maybe 2 or 3) will make an appearance...pending adeptness in practice! hehe

Out of curiosity what kinda music do sign red and element play? We are pretty self explanatory hehe When you say 30 mins give or take, do you mean we could possible slide in a couple more minutes?

another update lol! Scorge has just told me that he will definately make it back on Saturday at around 2pm! That means that we can definately play this gig. Phew! Glad that's sorted! See ya on the 17th

Update! I believe that Mac Atom got in touch with Wilky about this gig (our singer), and he didn't tell us before he pissed off to the Phillipines. He gets back on monday, and yes we can play the gig. Wayne we need to know quickly if you can play (by monday!) so we know if we need to get Len or not. But yes we are good to go.

Ok, some more research has revealled that this Gig is the night after Scorge is at Dream Theatre... and he wont be back :| Maybe if Len is back he could fill in for Mr McBrain? I'll have to get a hold of him. STill need to know who confirmed we would play this gig so I can organise a gang raping for him!

Forgot to say... if it was Wilky that signed us up then yese we will be able to play as, obviously, he knows he will be home in time!

Well I've spoken to Stug and he will be back in time... but I have no idea about Wilky. He is un-contactable and probably upto his eyeballs in Thai-Brides! I must assume that he said we could do this then buggered off before telling us! If someone from Drakes could confirm asap I would be very grateful! I think we should be able to play...will know more once I get a reply!

I would also be interested to know how we got this gig! We had an unconfirmed appearance with Black Atom due for February at Drakes, so I don't know how we got this! Stug is home in England, Wilky is in the Phillipines, Benner hasn't been home long, Wayne didn't know about it and I certainly didn't! We should be able to play this date, I am 80% sure Stug and Wilky will be back by then but just curious as to how it came about!
