It's cool. We don't have toilet seats. The toilets are one piece moulded stainless stell units. The surfaces are factory polished to a mirror finish, which prevents germs from becoming ingrained in them. The customers can (when necessary) wipe of any drips etc with toilet roll, which leaves them with a nicely clean surface. The trade off is that they are cold to sit on for the first 5 seconds.
Rachie is probably the least likely person to vandalise a toilet heh heh. We don't get too many problems in the ladies compared with the gents. That's why they've got a real mirror now an not just a polished square of stainless steel!
I daren't vandalise anything in your bathroom. It's fought back before...
Evil taps... they're out to get me...

Eurohostel's good. It's fine and central and pretty cheap. Bed's are reasonably comfy too!

Huzzah! Mirrors!
My only qualm with the moorings toilets is the lack of toilet seats. Bloody freezing!

it was monkeys with paintguns this year, not badgers
Monkeys have better aim than Badgers clearly.
-
The badger clearly was slightly more sober this year

Yeah that would have been me and Kirsty last year... doors aren't til 9, that was rugby though, for 6 nations so matches were done by 7 at the latest, I dunno what the chat is with the footie (I'm assuming that's the sport you mean since the 6 nations is over the week before).

North East of Scotland Music School offer piano lessons (as well as those for a range of other instruments). Very centrally located just off Union st on Huntly st.
Give them a ring on 01224 649695. I'm sure they'll be happy to help.

I second that disagreement. Looking forward to seeing PVH and Eric Euan very much.

There's a wind farm application going through for 6 turbines to be set up at several sites around Methlick & Tarves at the moment, if folk who support wind energy could take a minute to send a letter off to help the case for getting planning permission it'd be much obliged:
At the moment as you are probably aware we have an application for 6 wind turbines well spread out over our farms. Those that don't like wind turbines will always make a point of writing a letter of objection whilst those that do generally support wind energy are less likely to make their point to the council. Please could you take a few minutes to support our application. This can either be on the net or by snail mail.
To support online use this email address :-
fo.planapps@aberdeenshire.gov.uk
or by visiting the following web site, using the application listed below

these are the details required in a letter of support :-

Been following that, bummer. Sounds like those who have receipts etc and can prove they were affected should get compensated though.
A pox on Tesco and Morrissons!
I prefer Sainsbury's for petrol anyway, get nectar points...

Paper round is a good start. Cash in hand and you get the odd tips if you have a generous neighbourhood.
If it's the RGC trip then you'll be doing alot of fundraising throughout the year too anyway. Do a sponsored swim or something like that?

Following their success with last years 30th Anniversary production of The Yeomen of The Guard the student members of The University of Aberdeen Gilbert & Sullivan Society return to the stage of the Arts Centre. The Gondoliers, or, The King of Barataria, was the twelfth opera written together by Gilbert and Sullivan.
Opening on December 7, 1889 at the Savoy Theatre, The Gondoliers ran for 554 performances, and was the last of the G&S operas that would achieve wide popularity. Its lilting score has, perhaps, the most sparkling and tuneful music of them all. With well loved songs such as the tenor showstopper Take a Pair of Sparkling Eyes, the clever In A Contemplative Fashion and the joyous and energetic Cachucha this tale of mistaken identity, romance, republicanism and royalty is a masterpiece of comic opera and an entertainment perfectly suited, set as it is in warm Mediterranean climes, to the dreich chill of an Aberdeen winter.
Wednesday - Friday 19.30
Sat 14.30 & 19.30
Tickets available from Aberdeen Box Office and Aberdeen Arts Centre.

I usually have a quick listen before I chuck it in the bin (or not if it's good!).
Cracking idea

Almost anything tastes good when you're pished - if it wasn't for alchohol, kebab shops would be out the game!
Save yourself the bother...it's loupin'
Anything does indeed taste good when you're pissed, BUT La Lombarda pizza used to make a mighty fight breakfast the next morning!

Forgot about it as usual.
Might cheat and pop in past Sainsbury's later
Beth Ditto vs Kate Moss as face of topshop

Good on her. I wouldn't want to be a skinny freak like Kate Moss frankly. I do wish Ditto would shave her pits before photoshoots though, have you seen the album cover on Standing in the Way of Control? Jesus. That's nae a bonny sight.
